This is one of the freshest, smoothest and one of the most wonderfully blended Vetiver fragrances I have ever encountered. A nice citrus opening, (which fortunately isn't sharp,) transforms into a creamy, delicious woody Vetiver. This will be a perfect Summer fragrance. You need this!

My worst perfume blind buy in years! Absolutely no odor of Vetiver only the smell of cheap synthetic citrus aroma chemicals. Tested it 3 times, same results, begins with smell of lemon laundry detergent, dries down to the odor of citronella bug spray, unfortunately it has good longevity. Its EU product label confirms it is full of synthetics; Lillial, BHT, Citronellol. For just several more dollars you can buy a real nice Vetiver fragrance, try Encre Noire or Guerlain Vetiver for an appealing fragrance that smells of the natural plant.

This is definitely not the smell for me. It smells like something you'd spray on the bathroom if I'm honest. Bought it to try and disappointed.Could be to someone else taste, but for me.. a solid no!

My daughter bought this fragrance for my birthday and I have to say that I (female) am delighted with its herbal citrussy aroma, especially for warmer days. Granted, some of the top notes wear off quickly, but the lingering scent is nice and clean (not cheap). There's something familiar, cool and grounded in nature about it for me and it's definitely good enough for the price and I really like its antique charm. (I also have the Tuberose fragrance in this range which is a warm, dry and spicy, unique comforting floral that works well for cool evenings and has staying power.)
Tested this fragrance in store and it smelt beautifully fresh. Very green and cologne type of smell but within an hour of spraying it’s barely noticeable. I have to apply it several times during the day but for the price maybe that’s to be expected.
I have been wearing this scent for many years now. It is my perfume of choice for the summer. People often stop me & ask what I’m wearing or just comment that I smell lovely!! It’s fresh & light. Lasts well & is excellent value.

I bought this for myself (female) - Monotheme's ethos was intriguing as I often like top and middle notes of scents but dislike many bottom notes: musk, amber etc. And I've always liked the almost-piney smell of vetiver. Now I've worn it a while, this is very nearly perfect. I would try other scents by them.
