As the title states, this basketball is easily the best one at its price point. I would compare it to the $50 offerings from Spalding and Wilson. I was a little hesitant about getting a FIBA style ball, but I realized the hesitation was unwarranted once I took the ball out on the court. It has good grip and balance. The weight seems to be spot on as well. I would recommend this ball for outdoor play, but I can’t imagine taking it indoors would cause any harm.

Feels great, looks great, and is durable outdoors. Size measured 1/8" less circumference than 29.5", not noticeable, but weight was closer to professional than all of my Spalding outdoor balls (who's balls I'm also fed up with, given their erratic quality inconsistencies.) Another plus...with this ball's uncommon pattern, it's more difficult to steal and go unnoticed. ;) I play almost every day it's my primary outdoor ball.
Me and my kid loved it. We were surprised it came deflated if you compare it to the other brands out there but that wasn't and issue for us. Read a lot of reviews complaining about size but in our case it feels the right size, we even put it side by side with other balls and all of them looked and felt the same size to all participants. Outer skin feels good. Not able to rate durability right now, let's see what happens with it in the future.
Great texture and grips well when held. Easy to catch and does not feel slippery. Great indoor bell
The basketball that was delivered had a broken valve. We ended up bringing it back to the shop ourselves and they had no problem replacing it,New basketball is great.
I took a chance on this basketball despite reviews on Amazon saying that there were wrinkles on the surface before and after pumping up the ball. I was thinking that these negative reviews were just outliers and mine would come without any wrinkles. I was wrong. Come on Molten. Why is this happening. When I first got the ball, it was slightly deflated. I thought maybe pumping it up would make the wrinkles disappear. They didn't. Once inflated I went ahead used it for @ 30 minutes thinking that maybe playing with it inflated would "work" the wrinkles out. It didn't. One other thing I noticed while playing with the ball is the bounce. It seemed not to bounce correctly. I tested it by dropping the ball straight down on a level surface to see how it would bounce. One other thing I noticed while playing with the ball is the bounce. It seemed not to bounce correctly. I tested it by dropping the ball straight down on a level surface to see how it would bounce. I did this numerous times and the ball never once bounced straight up. Granted I know there are ridges in the ball. I did the same test with my Spalding Zi/o Excel and it bounced straight up maybe 80% of the time. In no way is this a definitive test for a defective basketball, but with the wrinkles and weird bouncing, something must be wrong. I do like the grip on the ball though. I'm very disappointed. I will most likely return it for a refund.
