Mitchum Natural Power Deodorant, Bamboo Powder, Cedarwood Scent, Men - 2.7 oz

This product smells very good.I have SUPER sensitive skin, so it has caused a couple of pimples in my right arm pit, but the left arm pit and underneath the breasts worked great.I love that it doesn't prevent perspiration. It simply helps odorize perspiration.It doesn't take much, and I only have to apply it 2-3 times on extremely active, hot days for 3 forward swipes on hot areas.It is pretty good deodorant. I will definitely buy again, and I am very picky.Great price too.

Aluminium Freeeeeee!

I love that this is aluminium free - it helps me feel guilt-free about wearing it. Aluminium has always bothered me and I will be reaching for this way before I reach for any of the other antiperspirants I own. I love that this is Vegan, cruelty free, and whitemark-free too.I have this in the cousin scent of this - Eucalyptus - and it's way nicer than what it sounds - it's gentle, soft scent is a delicate type of eucalyptus. Even it cold weather it doesn't harden up - it doesn't seem effected by the general temperature.

FANTASTIC! No Aluminium, Vegan, No White Marks!!

I love this! It feels really high quality to apply and has an easy twist up mechanism that keeps the deodorant coming as I need it. It's a moist-ish feeling formula in a solid block that literally rises to the occasion. So it dries on impact with the skin - after a couple of minutes I can't even feel that i've put deodorant on and feels great and natural. It's not drying to the skin either so I feel it's quite gentle and kind to the skin. I find this works super well for me. I love that no white marks are left on my skin or clothes either - that is important to me!I'm not a big heavy sweater and so usually only use deodorants on occasion when the need arises - just to feel fresher and more comfident and this definitely gives me loads of confidence regarding ... MoreI love this! I have the fragrance called 'Bamboo Powder' and it also says Eucalyptus on the front too so I'm not sure if Bamboo Powder is the actual scent name for this or if Eucalyptus is. It is like a sweet eucalyptus soft scent.I like the fresh green on white packaging/labelling. There is pretty pictures of the bamboo foliage on the front.What is a big deal with this deodorant is that it has NO ALUMINIUM in it!!!! Fantastic because I prefer a deodorant with no aluminium by a long shot and for someone like me I don't need aluminium in my products. I will definitely buy this again and definitely recommend it highly.It claims to last for 24 hours and I believe that it does as it does that for me. It's also vegan and cruelty free.

Found my new deodorant, or I guess it found me

Got this to sample as part of a promotion for my honest review, and to be frank I really didn't expect much. I mean, it's deodorant-- I figured they're all pretty much the same. I know all product lines right now are on the natural/homeopathy bandwagon right now (using the same herbs and oils I've used my whole life) but a lot of them are just for show, so the phrase "bamboo powder" didn't really impress me. I tossed this in the drawer and decided to 'get around to it' later.The packaging is a classy matte green and cream white, and the size is very compact which is great for tossing in a bag (which I often have to do, or at least I did before Covid came around). It closes tightly with a good amount of suction which gives me peace of mind as far as it being sanitary, and the knob is neither loose nor a pain to turn. There was a tiny amount of crumblage/shavings from the edges of the stick that got stuck to the protective disposable inner cap, but outside of that it isn't crumbly at all, and doesn't have the powdery feel and residue that many stick deodorants have. This feels closer to a stick of pure cocoa or shea butter, though not as oily. It glides on smooth and a little goes a long way! I learned the hard way the first time I applied, you don't need nearly as much as typical stick deodorant! Even still when I applied too much, it sort of rubbed into my skin easily instead of gunking up or leaving a sticky white film behind. Just kinda rubbed it in like moisturizer and made a note not to use so much. No streak marks on my black tank top despite my mishap.I have *very* sensitive skin, especially in areas where I shave which happens to (usually) include my armpits, so I am always skeptical about new products, but I can happily say this caused ZERO irritation whatsoever. In fact I'd even say it made my skin feel rather soft, healthy, and moisturized, probably thanks to Coconut oil being the third ingredient, with Castor oil included in there as well.Of course, the most important thing about a deodorant no matter how natural or stylishly packaged is how it makes you smell. This. Stuff. Smells. Amazing! It is definitely a "masculine" scent, however it doesn't smell like cologne or god forbid, Axe. It has more of a freshly-showered smell combined with a woodsy pine, without being overly minty or "evergreen" smelling (and no weird tingly 'cooling' feeling either). It is strong without being headache-inducing, and I'm not going to lie, I'm not even trying to resist sniffing myself over and over right now.I'm curious to see how non-irritating it still is when I use it after shaving, but so far, I have no reason to believe it would be any problem whatsoever with my skin in any state. And did I mention it smells, like, really freaking good?

I have (self-diagnosed) hyperhidrosis for my armpits, so having a strong antiperspirant is a must for me. I sometimes will have to use Certain Dri at bed time to shrink my pores, which is truly the only way to control my sweat, and then apply Mitchum in the morning to start the day.Anyhow, this more natural Bamboo stick CANNOT stand the test of my pits. It smells good as a product, but overall it just cannot help prevent my underarms from sweating like the normal 48hr Mitchum powder sticks.My biggest gripe is that if I for any reason go longer than a day or two without showering (i know - nasty - but it has happened), my underarms will begin to absolutely stink of onions! I've never experienced something such as this, where a deodorant seems to amplify my stench and thereafter my body odor still lingers after a shower.Conclusion, I absolutely love the idea of a natural deodorant/antiperspirant, because I know people want it and are health-nuts, but for me who can start sweating under my arms just from simply holding a conversation with people, I've got to have my original 48hr Mitchum powder stick, not the Bamboo version.FYI - I have not noticed any staining issues on clothing from Bamboo or their traditional sticks.

Great smell, bad product design.

I really like the smell and the fact that it is aluminium free, however there are some problems. There really is not much in the tube and yes, once you reach the top there is a significant chunk that you can't get to unless you scoop it out with your fingers (but it makes an awful mess). It also does tend to leave an oily stain on some fabrics that doesn't seem to come out in a basic wash cycle. I only buy it when it's on sale, I think it's a little overpriced but maybe that's just deodorant nowadays. I'll keep buying it because I like it but not sure I would recommend it.

It works

I have been using this deodorant for about 2 months now. I've tried soooo many "natural" deodorants before and I always end up with body odour by mid afternoon. You won't get that with this Mitchum one... well I didn't anyway!It has a really nice fresh smell about it and doesn't crumble under my arms leaving white bits.I really love that it doesn't contain any aluminium. It's made with good ingredients and makes me feel safe about using it daily. I recommend this to everyone. It works.I smell fresh all day. Don't have wet underarms in the heat or when I'm exercising.

Maybe I got a bad stick...

First off, it smells really good. BUT. I wasn't sure if I maybe just got a wonky stick because I've bought this brand before and loved it. It always worked. This one with the cedar wood though.. the texture was VERY soft. It was actually kindof messy to apply. It was a solid stick deodorant so I am not sure why it was so soft and almost melty when I tried to apply it. I think it also irritated my skin a little bit. I dont think I wouldn't purchase again just for the application factor I'm not really sure what the texture was supposed to be but it does smell good if cedar wood is one of your favorite smells.

Natural Deodorant that Works!

I made the switch to natural deodorants about 2 years ago. In that time, I have tried a few brands of liquid roll-ons, but after receiving one of the Mitchum Natural Power Deodorants with Bamboo Powder as part of a trial, I don't think I will be going back. I was so impressed with it's performance that I decided to try another scent in the range. This coconut one did not disappoint, it smells amazing & has quickly become my favourite. It glides on with a satin feel. It offers great odour protection without the need to re-apply during the day & I even found that it lived up to its 24 hour promise by continuing to protect me against odour overnight. Naturally okay

So, for me, even though it’s a nice deodorant, it’s a bit of a worry that it’s just not long lasting enough and it could be an odour issue if I was doing something more strenuous. But, having said all that, I’m not ready to give up on this deodorant so I’m going to use it during winter to see what the outcome is.
