An impressive drill, certainly a step up from the previous gen. The protection system is a little too sensitive in some circumstances, however the power to drill a full range of materials is well worth putting up with the odd moment. Weight is good even with the larger batteries. Best with the 5.5 AH High Output battery. You won’t be disappointed with this drill.

I purchased this item for one reason. I already own a Milwaukee drill but it only has about 68nh which wasn’t powerful enough to drill through four pieces of damp 4’x2’ tanilized timber. But my new Milwaukee fuel drill is absolutely fantastic with it’s 158n of power

Never had milwaukee tools before.. always makita....I have to say it's a nice bit of kit we'll screwed together very responsive trigger and very powerful....Feels good in the hand and has the anti snatch (wrist sprain) auto stop function reasuring.. that can be defeated if you so choose.5ah battery's last a good while but you can get up to 12ah if your using it for super heavy duty over long periods...I'm looking for a matching impact driver currently...Definately work adding to your tool kit...
I bought this to replace a Dewalt battery drill which has done countless jobs for me, I did lots of research and was persuaded by the torque figure and battery life to buy this Milwaukee drill. After 2 weeks use I can say categorically it has no more useable torque than the old Dewalt or my Festool drills. It’s well made and a solid piece of kit but there are drill out there just as good for less money.
Seen some negative reviews about this before buying. I have the GEN 3 impact driver so this is a good match. Have been drilling into brick/concrete with no problems at all, as well as metal. For me personally I really like it for the uses I’ll have for it.
Mileaukee simply makes the best quality power tools at affordable prices. Drill has high torque, built well and excellent quality. Packaged well and was delivered within 24hrs without any issues. A real must for any tradesman tool kit.
Wasn't sure about Milwaukee as only ever use Makita, but solidly built and feels lighter in the hand than weight suggests. High top speed of 2100 rpm helps with holes masonry and brick. Gen 4 slightly heavier than gen 3 but didn't want to risk trigger and over heating problems associated with Gen 3. This model has no such problems
I bought this product 2 months ago. Good drill, powerful and nice and compact. But I unfortunately I has developed a wobble in the chuck which makes drilling nearly impossible. Apparently this isn't unusual in this drill
