Milwaukee 48228485 - PACKOUT Mounting Plate

Quality of part is good and as described. Only 2 things I would change, the hole where the units lock needs to be a tad smaller so the cases don't have as much room to wiggle. Also the mounting tabs could use a washer tacked on or so for added thickness. Other than those the base is perfect for my needs and very pleased.

Every PACKOUT owner, NEEDS this Mounting Plate!

With a little thought; I figured out how to incorporate these mounting plates, with my specific needs. I can now easily store and select, whatever PACKOUT tool boxes I'll need, for the work day ahead! It is sturdy and built like every other PACKOUT component. It is by far, the BEST designed Mounting Plate!

Good idea

I have yet to purchase any packout equipment but it’s definitely on my list.The packout plate looks a great idea but you need to develop a plate that will screw onto the impact/ drill cases. The large m18 cases as well as the m12 cases. I have plenty of Milwaukee tools with cases that can’t work with packout. I definitely won’t throw out my existing cases to trade for a packout.

Great base for a flexible system.

Great system that offers robust versatility. I have these base plates in all my rigs which allows me to swap boxes and reconfigure according to the day's needs.

Handy, but buy on sale, Regular price ridiculous.

These are very handy, but I admit they need to be on sale for me to be motivated to add them. Price complaint aside, this is handy around the shop. They can eat square footage rapidly when used as mounts on the wall. The coming shelf system may suit better for those purposes. I use this for mounting my crate to the wall when not in use on the stack. I also use them attached to overhead rafters for out of the way storage mounting of packout tops with premounted tools like grind wheels. Like all packout it is sturdily built and functions well in use. No complaints there.

I will but more if these plates

I installed this on top of a drawer setup inside my work van to hold my packouts in place. These work great for organizing the amount of materials I carry.

Incredible value

I found that these mounting plates are possibly the best value tool I own. The versatility of these only further increases the value of my packout boxes. I made myself a wooden cap for my truck so I could store the bigger tools like table saw and mitre saw without fear of snow and rain. These got mounted right to the top and are a perfect grab-n-go depending on what the job is that day.

Versatile!!!

These are the cat's meow! I installed them in my work van as well as on the wall in my garage. I can latch all my packouts onto them and they won't slide around in my van anymore or take up shelf space in my garage. The cool bonus is the tie down spots, so if you need to move your packouts to place a larger item which needs to be tied down, you are able to use lots of options for selecting tie down points! Lots of mounting holes too to provide several bolt down options!

When I'm rich, I'll afford more of these but worth it all

Great systems. Would have liked instructions on how to detach items as I struggled with pushing the tab the wrong way for about 15 minutes. Ok, so I'm dumb, give me some slack. Plus, the system is great BUT boy are they proud of it and it shows in the price tag. They still have the best products out there though
