I ordered this bed for my 13-year-old grandson, that is growing daily. I used to live in a three-bedroom house he had his own bedroom. Now I live in a little one bedroom apartment. I wanted something strong enough to support him as he is growing but small enough to fit into my living room when he's here and then fold up and put it in the closet. This bed meets all those requirements. I put it together very easy assembly instructions tools included. I lay ed down on it and I almost fell asleep. It is very sturdy it is wide enough to turn over and not worry about falling off. The mattress is firm but yet soft. I myself love this bed! I did a lot of research on other beds, read a lot of reviews saying a lot about putting another mattress on it, or soon it will start ... MoreI ordered this bed for my 13-year-old grandson, that is growing daily. I did a lot of research on other beds, read a lot of reviews saying a lot about putting another mattress on it, or soon it will start sagging and I have to put a board under it. With this bed there is no need for an extra mattress and I don't believe I'll ever need a board underneath it. Even the delivery came sooner than expected overstock notified me it would be shipped notify me when it was received. I had it shipped to a friends house because they are home more than me but they were not at home. The shipping company put it in the backyard behind the gate instead of leaving it on the front porch that's great. The big test will be when my grandson sleeps on it. See if he likes it or not, if for some strange reason he does not like it I will sleep on it and he can sleep in my bed. I would definitely recommend this bed to anyone very good choice. On my budget, it was a bit pricey but worth every penny. I read a review about this bed and the woman showed a picture of it without wheels on it and it looks like it sags in the middle this bed does not sag at all very sturdy. I'm sending my own picture so you can see there is no sag. I can't say enough about this bed it is perfect. If you're looking for a rollaway bed stop looking and just order this one .

I've only had the bed for 4 days so my review is based on little time. Be forewarned. The bed, so far, is great. It arrived double boxed with only one hole and a slightly bent hinge (fixed in about a minute with a pair of pliers). I blame this on FedEx, not Milliard. It's fairly easy to figure out how to put together (which is good as the instructions are rather sparse). It folds up nicely and I can wedge it into a closet when not in use. I bought the bed because I have back issues and, surprisingly enough, a inexpensive roll-away bed causes less pain than my $1500 memory foam mattress (I have to rotate sleeping between a bed, a recliner, a sofa and, now, this roll-away so I don't wake up with back pain). I weigh 200 pounds and so far the mattress appears to support ... MoreI've only had the bed for 4 days so my review is based on little time. Be forewarned. The bed, so far, is great. I weigh 200 pounds and so far the mattress appears to support my weight just fine. I do not feel the under support structure at all. I won't be sleeping on it nightly so the five inch mattress should have time to recover between uses.Though the mattress gave off a chemical odor for a few days, I will not ding it for that. All mattresses that are suction compressed do that. I only have two complaints about this product. 1) the lack of instructions (luckily I'm mechanically inclined) and 2) one of the handles was wider than the pre-drilled bolt holes (again, mechanically inclined so took a drill and mad the hole into a slot and then the bolt fit fine). I would give this ded four and three quarter stars if I could. All in all, the Milliard Diplomat folding bed is a good purchase that is definitely worth the price.

I have had this bed for 4 months and have been using it regularly. However, the metal supports for the feet that fold down on each side are weak and have bent so that the sides no longer hold up one end of the bed. Any weight on it causes it to collapse. The support hooks with a C shaped cut out on the metal support extension, that attaches downward on a screw head to hold out the foot. The C shape got wider and it now just falls off the screw head whenever any weight is put on that side. We put a footstool under the one side to hold it up so that it won't collapse. But this is supposed to last a long time with a "sturdy frame." I am disappointed and don't know how to fix it.

We purchased 2 rollaway beds to use while our house is on the market. We've removed all furniture, so needed these since we were still living at the house. When we have a showing, we just fold up and roll into a closet. I did a lot of research and choice these due to them being twin bed size and not a cot. They are built very strong. The mattress is okay, but we added a foam mattress topper which made it surprisingly comfortable. The bed is a bit pricey, but if you can wait on your purchase, watch for the sales. The only con I can see so far, is that they are lower to the ground than a regular bed. Other than that, I highly recommend them and am very glad that we purchased them.
I was trying to decide whether I should get a bed, daybed, airbed or foldable bed for my small guestroom. I am so glad I picked this foldable bed. It was simple to put together and easy to fold and store away if needed. The frame is light but very strong and sturdy. Unlike a bed or daybed where it can be bulky, heavy and a pain to move around. Plus you don't have to worry about holes, pumping air in it or deflating it like an air mattress. The cost was worth it especially with the many sales Overstock offers on taking percentages off. Weekend guest complimented sleeping very well on it. You can't feel any hard bars in the bed frame like most small beds like this because the mattress is surprisingly of good quality memory foam. Excellent product and excellent customer service. Very easy to assemble. Worth every dollar. I noticed little screech/hole on mattress cover. I emailed customer service and they were quick to reply and shipped brand new cover overnight!! Bed is very sturdy, It take quite a weight on! (350-400 pounds) Only flow I found is wheel could be better, it will roll or move on smooth surface with lock on. I had my set up on area rug and it helped but still would move. Very easy to fold and transfer. Mattress is good as well, just might take some time to get use too. I used it for about 2 months before writing this review. Definitely will recommend to any one looking for quality product and great customer service!
Been using this bed for over a week to assist with an elderly parent when they get up at night. It works well for my needs. Very comfortable foam mattress with a firm and soft side. Since it's a twin size it fits in the room pretty easily but still provides plenty of space to sleep on it. Setup didn't take long - putting on the castor wheels and metal supports for the legs. So far I'm pleased with it. Just hope the foam mattress holds up under months of regular use.
Rating this pretty low, but mostly because of the state of the product that was shipped to me. There was one large scuff/scrapes and multiple smaller scuffs/scrapes on the frame, not the biggest deal but not great for a 'new' item. The box had multiple layers of tape so I'm not sure if I was sent an open-box item or return. There was also a defect where the tubes folded out, one side of the tubes overlapped and there was a gap on the other side of the tube. Due to the mis-alignment I had to really torque down the screw and bend the frame a bit to get it to even fold out and I suspect I will not be able to easily collapse, re-extend the frame if I need to in the future. Onto the product itself. It's functional and easy to use. Easy to wheel around and easy to ... MoreRating this pretty low, but mostly because of the state of the product that was shipped to me. Onto the product itself. It's functional and easy to use. Easy to wheel around and easy to maneuver. Some slight improvements could be made on the folding of the legs but it's a pretty pleasant and quick process. The mattress is nice and firm to prevent feeling metal through the relatively thin thickness. The one design note that I really didn't like was that they undersized the mattress instead of increasing the height of the folded frame. I would happily take a few inches of height to accommodate a standard or XL-twin mattress.
A specific seller of this product (Currentline/Lakewood Candies, LLC) sold an obviously-returned and subsequently defective/damaged bed. Upon arrival, the mattress was punctured, the frame was bent, and pieces of the bed were half put together. Due to the bent frame, the bed was unable to lie flat at all, rendering it 100% useless. Couldn’t even get to step 2 of the instructions. If you’re going buy this bed, DO NOT buy it from Currentline/Lakewood Candies, LLC. Don’t believe me? Google “Lakewood Candies, LLC” for reviews from others.
I was looking for a firm and comfortable mattress and a sturdy and quiet frame. This bed delivers that and then some! I had been sleeping on the couch while caring for my husband and that just wasn't working. I ordered this bed to hopefully get some relief and sleep. The bed has provided some much needed comfort. I am a plus size lady with arthritis that needs a firm mattress and the little bit of memory foam on top offers a wonderful softness. The bed is very quiet. There are no springs to squeak every time I move. It was very easy to set up and lightweight enough to close up with ease. It seemed a little pricey but so worth it in the long run. And to top it off it arrived a day early!
