Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 for Business 13.5" i5 8GB 512GB Win10 Pro - Black

I bought this gorgeous laptop on the weekend after having used a Surface Pro for some years and I can't believe what I've been missing! This is super light, beautiful looking and not as fiddly as the Surface Pro. I was concerned about the large 15" screen making the laptop too heavy but I can't believe how much grunt and size they've managed to fit into such a light package. The keyboard is beautiful to type on and trackpad extremely responsive, right out of the box. As I use O365 there is hardly any real customisation to do, just downloaded a PDF reader and a couple of other things. Can't recommend this highly enough. Also, the service from JB Hi Fi was beyond brilliant. I spoke to a real person on the phone who arranged a great deal for me, then another team ... MoreI bought this gorgeous laptop on the weekend after having used a Surface Pro for some years and I can't believe what I've been missing! Also, the service from JB Hi Fi was beyond brilliant. I spoke to a real person on the phone who arranged a great deal for me, then another team member brought the parcel to my door later that same afternoon - even though it was a Sunday. I've always shopped at JB Hi Fi but this only makes me want to support them even more. Great products, prices and service all round.

This might be single handedly the worst piece of technology ever created. From the moment I bought it I've had significant issues dealing with sound delays over videos, inability to connect to bluetooth devices and all-round slowness. Watching any video on this laptop involves up to a 2 second sound delay closely followed by the computer dying as it lasts about 45 minutes on a full charge. I would rather attempt to get my uni degree online with a 1st generation iPad with no touchscreen and a broken camera than ever have to deal with this pathetic excuse for a laptop ever again. Apart from the fact the keyboard works well, this laptop has probably taken off 10 years of my life from the amount of stress it has caused me from failing to serve its purpose in my uni ... MoreThis might be single handedly the worst piece of technology ever created. Unless all you want to do is type and you love powersockets, do not buy this junk.

I purchased a refurbished laptop from Walmart and when I received it in the mail, it was in French. The third party seller did not factory reset it and it had a user set up that I couldn’t access. After google translating French, I was able to get to the factory reset page and the touch screen, mouse and keyboard did not work so I could not click the factory reset option. I rebooted the laptop several times and still no luck. I couldn’t find a contact number to call them to have them walk me through what I could do, although I don’t think there was much that they could do. It was basically useless. I sent it back for a refund as I was well within the return window. They sent me a return label via email and when I clicked on it, the link was expired. I followed up ... MoreI purchased a refurbished laptop from Walmart and when I received it in the mail, it was in French. I followed up and I am waiting for a new return label to be emailed me. I wouldn’t be surprised if they charged me shipping. Overall, a disappointing experience with Walmart’s refurbished third party seller laptop. I have had similar disappoints with refurbished laptops (this is the second one that hasn’t worked out, the first one being a MacBook Air from Best Buy) so I have learned my lesson to buy new. I have used the Microsoft Surface Go laptop in the past and have had no issues, so I still recommend their products, just not refurbished ones.
