The optical design includes a rounded nine-blade diaphragm that produces soft, pleasing bokeh in out-of-focus areas, enhancing both image aesthetics and subject positioning. The lens delivers consistent performance under various lighting conditions, with the f/1.8 aperture allowing for creative control over depth of field and exposure settings. The build quality meets professional standards with durable construction materials and precise manufacturing tolerances. The lens measures approximately 78 mm in diameter and 90 mm in length, weighing around 420 g, providing balanced handling on compatible camera bodies. The filter thread size is 67 mm for standard filter accessories. This lens represents a successor model in Meike's professional lens lineup, offering reliable performance for photographers seeking high-quality optics for portrait, event, and creative photography applications. Compatibility is confirmed with Leica L-Mount DSLRs with full-frame sensors, and users should verify specific camera model compatibility for optimal performance.
