I was recently diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease and wanted to take a vitamin supplement to see if it would help boost my energy level. I am also on medication prescribed by my endocrinologist and on a low carb diet; however, I think these combined efforts have contributed to a slightly higher energy level. That being said, I have only been taking this supplement for about three weeks. If I notice a greater increase in my energy level, I will edit my review. One factor that led me to choose this particular brand was that it is verified non-GMO (http://www.nongmoproject.org/). As with any vitamin supplement, check with your doctor before using and stop using immediately if any side effects occur.

I'm using this in addition to taking ritual prenatal multivitamin. I take one selenium and one ritual daily as a treatment for my self diagnosed anaemia. The regular ritual does not contain all the ingredients necessary for this to work it must be the prenatal. However I found the recommended dosage of the prenatal to be too much for my body at 2 pills a day so I take only one daily which is perfect. The issue however is that selenium is very necessary to make this function effectively and mega food selenium is organic gmo free and offers other benefits by being made with real food. For example the turmeric is great for inflammation without me having to take an additional suppliment. I have been battling Hashimoto with inflammation in eyes, intestines, and tongue. I feel I have swollen eyes, swollen tongue,dry mouth, daily. My husband and I noticed results hours after I took this.
