I feel like my main gripe with liquid liner is that I ALWAYS end up going outside of my intended line, resulting in far too much liner after I correct and match. Maybelline’s Hyper Easy Eyeliner is exactly that….easy to use! I tested this two days, and both times the felt tip performed like a champ! No excessive product on the tip to cause that dreaded wobble on the line. The tip itself is very fine at the end, allowing for a wonderful close line on the lashes if you are more into subtle lining. Also, I typically use eyeliners that are in the $20-$30 range, so this one is a steal for the quality. The ‘Pitch Brown’ shade made for a soft, feminine look that was complementary with the bronzes in this image and soft pinks the day before. I definitely recommend the liner ... MoreI feel like my main gripe with liquid liner is that I ALWAYS end up going outside of my intended line, resulting in far too much liner after I correct and match. I was given this product for free from Influenster and Maybelline in exchange for my honest Incentivized review. This is a quality product. It Did not irritate my eyes, went on smooth and feels really nice. The color I received is a dark brown. It is opaque very pigment dense but didn’t feel heavy. there is no need to retrace your lines. The line stays nicely. I didn’t have any unintended smudges or smears. Nor did it feel dry or get flaky. I did keep my eye closed a few seconds after application to give it time to set. I have allergies and tend to rub my eyes a lot. As long as it’s dry I had no issues with it smearing. It does come off easily and very cleanly when you wash your face. I didn’t have to pay that little bit of extra attention to my eyes to get it off. I was quite surprised and very impressed I will definitely purchase this in the future. I really liked it.

I don’t know why people still knock drugstore items. I find that they are slowly starting to dominate makeup world. This item being a great example. If you love KVD Tattoo Liner, this one is right up your alley. It is crazy inky black and lasts foreverrrrrr! It has the same brush tip as the KVD liner, not the felt pen tip. I find the brush tip is much more easier to work with anyways. You have better control and a sharper line. It seems like a small amount, but I swear this lasts for quite some time. It usually goes for $16.99CDN at the drugstores, (which is a tad pricy for drugstore IMO), but I tend to find it on sale for $9.99CDN on Amazon or whenever there is a weekly sale. Still cheaper then the Tattoo Liner which is $30.00CDN. Definitely worth a shot if you’re ... MoreI don’t know why people still knock drugstore items. This is my new favorite liquid eyeliner... I've tried a lot of brands (many more premium brands) but this is by far the easiest to use and the best. It doesn't pull or skip when used properly and is water resistant when my eyes water. My eyelids are a bit "wrinkled" and have slight lines and wrinkles that make it possible for me to mess up when using liquid eyeliner on my top lid, but this works really well for me. My biggest problem with most eyeliners is that when I apply "wings" to my eyeliner, the corners of my eyes tend to get watery and the wings look ferocious. This eyeliner isn't 100% melt proof, but it works much better than previous eyeliners I've tried. Other than that, I didn't have any problems with it clumping, cracking from peeling. This is a great eyeliner to create precision for wings and details. I just wish more colors would be made... like bright blue or vibrant green. I will buy every single color!
I love the applicator on these. It angles into such a smooth fine tip it's extremely easy to get as thin or thick liner as you prefer. The product itself goes on smooth as butter, with all the pigment the name implies (I can only vouch for the black). It stayed put- as long as you don't roughly rub your eyes because you're tired and forgot you put on makeup before the crack of dawn, like I did -In which case, my fists blended it away relatively easily after it lasted 8+ hours without budging. So, in all honesty, I won't complain about that. My only (*absolutely personal preference) neutral thought on them is the black dries to a matte that's almost flat. Unless you're staring, I'm sure it's unnoticeable, but *I* know it's there, lookin all dry. Still, it's my ... MoreI love the applicator on these. Prior to using this, I was an avowed fan of KVD Tattoo Liner, but I was constantly disappointed by how quickly it dried up. But this blows that out of the water, for half the price. I initially bought it as an emergency backup, after forgetting my signature eyeliner at home while on vacation. And I was 100% SHOCKED by how well this performed. I will say, it works best with a primer with powder on top, but that is true of KVD's liner as well. I also think the black is blacker, without the weird grey undertone you sometimes get with Tattoo Liner. Additionally, this lasts WAY longer, both in terms of application and in terms of the overall longevity of the pen. I used to need to replace tattoo liner ever 3 months, going on 6 months now and only just now finding it ... MorePrior to using this, I was an avowed fan of KVD Tattoo Liner, but I was constantly disappointed by how quickly it dried up. Now, it's not perfect, but it is miles better than the average drug-store liner, and significantly competitive with most prestige brands. I'm curious to try the brown pen next.
I have been trying out the Maybelline Hyper Easy eyeliner for awhile, and I honestly think it is pretty good for a drugstore eyeliner. I like how I can hold it easily and I like how pigmented the ink is. It is also one of the only liners I was able to successfully make a wing with. Thankfully I did not experience any leaking with this product whatsoever. I did not give 5 stars, however, for two reasons. The first reason is that the pen does not last long; I found myself replacing it within 8-9 weeks. Secondly, for some reason, I'll be doing my eyeliner perfectly on one eye, then put the pen down without a cap for A SECOND, and all of a sudden it's a struggle to do the other eye; the ink won't come out or it's transparent and skippy. Even when I leave it upside down ... MoreI have been trying out the Maybelline Hyper Easy eyeliner for awhile, and I honestly think it is pretty good for a drugstore eyeliner. First I would like to start by saying this liner stays on true and does not smear or come off even if I swim. It has outlasted even my super expensive brands! However, the first one I purchased had issues after about a dozen or so applications….it started to dry out and skip and the tip became frazzled. I loved the long wear so I purchased a second one….in order to give it another shot. The second one did something different after taking it with me on a trip….it leaked horribly and….yup….the tip frazzled. The product itself is good but there seems to be a design flaw in the cap the crimps the tip…..and the leaking? Could pressure on the flight have caused this? Anyone else experiencing the tip issues beside me? I was super careful with the second one to slowly place ... MoreFirst I would like to start by saying this liner stays on true and does not smear or come off even if I swim. I’ve been using this eyeliner for a few years and it’s definitely one of my most used eyeliner. Only issues I’ve had is that every now and then, it the bristles in the tip will get bent by the pen cap. There’s no way to know when that happened bc the cap still snaps on like usual, no resistance or indicator that things aren’t lined up right inside. Other issue has been the ink will occasionally leak out of the brush tip. I store these upright at all times due to the potential of leakage. Even then, if it’s a faulty pen, the leaking starts as soon as I begin applying eyeliner bc the brush tip has to be tilted horizontal/slightly downward. Those issues aren’t enough to deter me from continuing to buy this eyeliner. Would def recommend giving it a try.
The formula for this eyeliner is AMAZING. It goes on smoothly, the applicator tip (at first) is great. However, the product design of the container is by far the worst of any eyeliner I have ever purchased. Whoever thought the hexagonal design was superior to the classic cylindrical eyeliner pen was way off base. I’ve purchased three of these in the last few months (because I love the formula so much) and all three of them have exploded in my makeup bag, leaking eyeliner everywhere. The cap doesn’t fit well and pops off so easily with a little pressure, drying out the applicator brush and making it separate so it no longer comes to a point. Essentially, this product is useless after 2-3 weeks and a huge disappointment. I really hope that Maybelline changes the ... MoreThe formula for this eyeliner is AMAZING. It is by far the best formula in its price range, but not worth the money when 90% of it goes to waste after the cap pops off. Might as well spend $20+ on an eyeliner that lasts.
