I had a hard time trying to figure out the best way to apply this, I used my finger & a soft brush for the best results. I have combination skin. Unfortunately, even though I knew better, I wore this for the first time at work. After a few hours my dark spots started to show and the foundation rubbed off where my hair touched my face. Luckily I brought the foundation with me and I reapplied it but after that plus the setting powder already on my face I looked cakey. Adding pressed powder instead of more foundation slightly helped with the rub off but I still felt blotchy.

I love a product that is compact and easy to use. I hate messy liquid foundations so when I see a stick or cream-to-powder on the shelf, consider it sold. This is a neat product, it is a stick foundation with an “anti-shine” core. When you apply, the core mixes with the foundation, leaving you matte and flawless. It applies wonderfully. Like silk and it blends like butter. When you get everything blended, your skin is flawless…for 2 hours. The term “shine free” must be used loosely. My skin was a horrible oil slick and my beautiful base was melted off after a few mere hours. If you have normal skin, even slightly dry, your skin will love this. Definitely give it a go. Anyone else, move on.

What I heavily disliked when I bought this product (same with the Fit Me Foundation) is that the shades Fair and Deep happen to be of pink undertone with becomes very apparent when applying it on someone of a different tone. And because of the lack of a broader shade range, you could probably be stuck with a "good-fit" of a shade but with the wrong undertone. They added 6 new shades, but then again, all just for deeper skin tones. There are not many options for dark, medium, fair and light skintones. Basically, a vast majority of shades is missing.Maybelline needs to step their game up with these ones because I just wouldn't prioritize buying a Fit Me concealer again over one at ColourPop, Elf or Makeup Revolution. The only nice use I give this concealer is for contouring with darker shades (which any concealer is good for; it's all about choosing an appropriate shade with the right undertone) and maybe highlighting, but not for coverage purposes.

Maybelline shine -free + balance stick foundation is great for a quick easy makeup look. I love how smooth and moisturizing this formula is and the coverage is a great medium build-able to full coverage. It's for combination skin so it looks good on oily or dry skin or a combination. I have oily skin and love the shine free finish this product gives me. I think there could be more shades for this product that would be my only dislike but it's a big one.

I use Apples HomeKit in our house and garage and needed something in the garage to turn the lights on automatically when someone opens the door and walks in. The first Homekit enabled motion sensor I purchased from another manufacturer constantly dropped off the network giving me "Unreachable" errors in the Home app. Because I have several Philips Hue lights in our home and have had great luck with them I decided to give their motion sensor a try. I'm very glad I did as it solved my lighting issue in the garage perfectly. Setup was pretty straight forward, although I do find the Philip's Hue app a bit cumbersome to get around in. Once the app found the device and installed it in the Home app I was able to create a new automation. Once the app found the device and installed it in the Home app I was able to create a new automation. Now when motion is detected it turns on three of my Smart Plugs connected to shop lights. I wasn't sure if the Hue motion sensor would be able to turn on non Philips Hue products but it works great. From the time it senses motion to activation of all three lights is under a second so it's very responsive.

First of, it came in a cute little roll up with no wasteful packaging! It had a nice mild scent and rolled on easily. This worked pretty well at reducing the oil on my skin and lasted pretty much all day. I did notice a little feathering on the skin, but when I used a good primer it kept my skin smooth and free from feathering. All in all I definitely recommend this product! I was pretty impressed.

I wish they had more shades to choose from. Or at least more shades in cool undertones. I wear 115 Ivory, but in the liquid, I wear 122 haha. When it gets to be summer, I won’t be able to use the stick foundation. I bought 4 shades already, each being one shade darker. Classic Ivory 120 is too yellow, and the next one up is Buff Beige 120 which is way too dark on me. It’s a nice foundation to start on before using more expensive cream stick foundations. It doesn’t go on my skin the same every time I use it. Sometimes it’s perfect, and sometimes it looks a little cakey around my nose. I have the same routine every time, too haha. That’s why I wish they had more shades so I could buy my summer one when it’s time. Depending on your skin type, you may have to blot before putting this on. It dries a tad bit oily, so just make sure your face is totally dry when you put this on. All you need are a few strokes on each cheek, your forehead, nose and chin! Then use a good quality buffing brush to buff it all in. After I go in with a buffing brush, I use a clean, damp sponge to go over my face. I found it cuts out any oily feeling the foundation leaves. I also found it too oily when I used my fingers, but it was less coverage when I used a buffing brush. You can build up the coverage somewhat, but too much and it got too oily. This could totally be my skin, so hopefully it’s not as finicky for you haha. I do recommend this but only if it’s in your correct shade, and you’re able to test it out before. I don’t think it’s worth the hassle of getting a close match and trying to make it work with blush, bronzer, etc. However, I stand by what I said earlier in that it’s a good stick to try if you’re wanting to explore the cream stick options! That’s what I’m doing right now, and I must say it’s much different than liquid, but it’s more fun, too!

this is my favourite concealer ever!! its so good for oily and dry skin and i know this because i have dry and my sister has oily, we both used it and it looked the exact same! the coverage isnt full but its definitely buildable and covers your dark spots nicely and naturally, it doesnt crease or cake it just looks like skin ! it isnt yellow like most of the other concealers on the market and it blends amazingly i would definitely recommend i love this its a 10/10💗

An overall SUPER foundation

I'm a big fan of this foundation stick! I bought this in the shade Classic Ivory. I was not sure how this was going to look or feel on my skin and was very hesitant! I have pretty sensitive combination skin with more dry patches than oily patches, so I always use a light moisturizer before I applied primer. This shade was a perfect match, and blends beautifully with the cheek heat blush, and the instant age rewind concealers that I use to conceal and contour. I have worn these products for a very busy 11 hour working day and had ZERO creasing or noticeable oxidation, and very little shine on my nose or chin, which are my two problem spots. None of these products aggravate my skin, they are super easy to use and don't feel gross on your skin, AND (one of my favorite ... MoreI'm a big fan of this foundation stick! Terrific foundation

Love this foundation. Have been using it for many years. Blends in to skin beautifully. The only foundation stick or cream foundation I’ve tried that does not look Cakey! Lasts all day on my combo (dry/oily) skin. I’m 50 and this does as well on my mature skin as it did when I was younger. This is a great balancing formula that does not dry skin but controls oils. It is perfect for my sensitive skin without fragrance and drying alcohols. I’m in the shade porcelain!
