Maxi-Cosi Zelia2 Luxe 5-in-1 Modular Travel System, New Hope Grey

I really did love this entire stroller / infant car seat. When my daughter was a newborn it was perfect, I loved how easy it was to attach the car seat to the stroller, it wasn’t to heavy and bulky. As my daughter got older I began to use the stroller and regular seat attachment, and had no complaints about it design wise. It has so many ways to use, it can be reclined basically flat, you can have the seat facing either way - it was great. After 1.5 years of using (and using lightly being it was the pandemic- mostly walks around outside my home) I feel like the stroller just began to fall apart. It was expensive and I wanted it to last and I just felt it looked like I used and abused it when in fact I hardly used it. I winded up doing a manufacturer’s warranty return (within 2years it’s valid). Now yes the stroller for the money I payed was not up to par for me being I felt it was a long term investment and wanted to use it until my child was 4-5 years old - but the stroller and ESPECIALLY infant seat were completely useable there was nothing wrong that compromised the safety of using both the stroller or car seat. In exchange of a refund, the company required I schedule a FACETIME CALL and “destroy” both the seat and stroller - they wanted the seatbelts cut out a square cut out of the back of the strollers seat, rip across from one side to the other on the stroller. I feel this is absolutely a disgrace and wasteful. They were refunding me regardless why make the products unusable, especially the infant seat which I had zero issue with. So many moms and babies in need. I Refused to do this and took the money loss and donated the stroller and car seat and bought from a stroller from a different brand !! This was a little over $400 from BuyBuy Baby and was an investment and it didn’t last, was not worth the money and has horrible warranty refund policy!!! I

You have everything you need to get around with your baby in one set that fits together perfectly and is stylish. The stroller does everything you need from infant to toddler- which makes this a great value for your money. Awesome travel system!

Thank you MaxiCosi for the free product to try out! This travel system is designed for the busy moms! I love the ease of collapsing and opening the stroller; it fits extremely well in the trunk and was very easy to assemble.I was excited that the stroller seat reclines for an older child to take a nap. And got rid of the need for additional attachments. The storage space underneath the seat is much bigger than others I've seen, I can easily fit my backpack into it. The infant car seat has an easy off cover for machine washing which is extremely convenient.Overall I'd highly recommend this travel system. The weight was a little heavier than I'd hoped but the ease of opening and closing, and compactness of the stroller when collapsed makes it not a dealbreaker for me.

Good economical choice

I love the convertibility of this stroller. Being able to easily go from bassinet to stroller is an absolute game changer. We travel a lot and have taken this stroller to Disney and it was perfect. The stroller frame folds up nice and easy and is lightweight. During park days we weee able to quickly and easily able to convert the stroller from a sit up position to a bassinet position for my 9 month old when he would fall asleep. The basket on the bottom is nice and large and fits a ton of stuff.The infant carrier and base are also lightweight and easy to use. The car seat base was one of the easiest to click in to the car. The carrier itself is nice and roomy with lots of adjustments for growing baby. The infant carrier has a one handed latch for easy removable from the base or stroller. The carrier itself was so light weight I didn't have any issues carrying it around for extended periods of time.My cons for this stroller are that the wheels don't go over bumpy surfaces really well. It also doesn't have a lot of height adjustment for taller parents. The frame of the stroller is a bit wider than my other stroller (I think this makes it easier to fold up smaller, but it can be difficult to navigate narrow shopping aisle). Lastly, the basket on the bottom is difficult to get into from the back of the stroller because of one of the bars that is used to fold the stroller down.

I love the vegan leather accents, it is such a nice rich look. The fabrics are soft, plush and cozy. My daughter is so comfortable in it. I think the stand out feature is how quickly and easily you can go from baby bassinet to toddler seat mode without hanging to store a bulky stand alone bassinet, so smart to have it all integrated! When I am out with my two kids I can put my infant in a baby carrier and transform to the toddler seat when she is tired on the go! I use it for diaper changing on the go with my toddler. The handle when in the highest position is a little loose feeling.The car seat has the same stylish look as the stroller. It is lightweight. There are no added flame retardants to the fabric, keeping it less harmful to babies delicate skin. The clima flow side ventilation helps keep baby cool. It can get stuffy rear facing in the backseat of a car. The fabric is easily removed and machine washer and drier safe! As an experienced parent I can't tell you how many times that feature has come in handy! The cons is that the car seat when installed in your car can be long depending on car. You cannot beat the quality and features for the price for a stroller car seat combo.

I also had some trouble with assembly and converting between functions (carriage to seat to car seat). While the click-into-place assembly was really nice overall, it seemed like some of the connections were a little tough to maneuver/move, which made it harder to set up. I thought the directions could benefit from a little more detail.

The stroller was very easy to put together. I did have to look up a video on changing from bassinet to stroller because the directions were not clear. I like that the stroller can be forward or rear facing. It was even able to fit my 3 year old who is tall very comfortably. I like the distance between the wheels because some strollers my husband trips due to his height but they were very well spread apart. It glides very smoothly and handles bumps well. Seems easy to clean and the seat is well cushioned. The umbrella is sturdy and covers the entire seat.The car seat seems standard and is comfortable. I like that it can fit up to 30lbs. hassle not worth the price

The stroller looks high end & I bought it for the modular convenience since this is my third baby & I'm constantly on the go. However it defeats the purpose when the car seat won't detach from the stroller on one side & the canopy keeps popping off since we've received it. The base feels really cheap and makes me feel it is unsafe no matter how much we tighten it. Today one side of the car seat wouldn't click onto the base. I really did so much research to get something that fits our lifestyle but these defects truly get in the way and take more time out of our routine. Bassinet wobbles since it just hangs when in bassinet mode. I do like the suspension on the back wheels, front wheels get stuck in small sidewalk cracks.
