The same covers that don't stay on I guess? So if you are considering this seat, be aware that there will be no help from John Lewis or MaxiCosi WHEN the covers start to come off as they don't seem to see a problem with this. The chair also becomes very flimsy on the sides after some time which doesn't seem very secure.

I have circled the top of the seat and you can see these are not symmetrical, with the left bolster 'falling away' from the seat. There's no apparent damage or any sign of looseness and I can only assume this is a fault either in the manufacture or design of the seat.Having seen others are having exactly the same issue, it appears Maxi-Cosi's usual standards have slipped badly with this seat and even though we've had it over 12 months, we're going to be pushing for a refund as it's simply not fit for purpose..

Notwithstanding the good fabric quality, it constantly falls off. We've being using Maxi-Cosi car seats since our girls' first days. We've been absolutely content about Maxi-Cosi Pebble Plus with base, it was of high quality from all points of view as well as comfortable for our babies. Next, we've moved to Maxi-Cosi 2wayPearl iSize with base which our younger daughter still uses. It is also comfortable and of high quality.Basing on our experience, we've chosen Maxi-Cosi Kore Pro iSize for our older daughter when it was tine to move to the next category, and... it was our worst choice ever. Great product except for the fault with the side panels
20 June 2022

This is the second time I've purchased these car seats due primarily to the fact they have the narrowest seat width on the market and therefore the only ones which will give me just about enough room for an adult to sit between them in the back seat. Unfortunately, each time and within weeks of purchase, I've had an issue with seat covers falling off the shoulder panel and refusing to stay up due, it seems, to the plastic frame itself pulling away from the main seat. John Lewis have already replaced one for us and, having just purchased two new seats less than 3 months ago thanks to our car being stolen, one of the polystyrene panels on the side has this weekend just fallen off completely. Maxi cosi is not fit as a middle seat despite seatbelt. Waste on money.
3 March 2023

I wish that guide on Maxi Cosi was more realistic. We wanted a carseat to fit three seats in the back. Every shop told us that any seatbelt fitted carseat can be used at middle seat.Well not according to ‘if fits my car’ maxi cosi check.None of them supports middle seat. We ended up with Argos Harmony half price seat as Its legally accepted to put in all three seats in the back.

Poor Design
29 July 2023

Purchased this in August 2022. We have used it constantly and as other reviews have mentioned the back cover keeps off. It's really annoying, my son constantly complains and it ends up coming off altogether. No idea if it impacts the safety aspect but it certainly makes it look aesthetically unpleasing. I have reached out to maxi-cosi direct. Not sure if they will bother responding, I will be in touch with JL also.

Poor quality - do not buy
15 January 2023

I have trusted the Maxi Cosi brand for the last 5 years with both my boys and have loved each car seat I have purchased, until now. I am so disappointed with theMaxi-Cosi Kore Pro i-Size Children's Car Seat as the fabric constantly falls off the chair leaving my child sat against hard plastic for nearly every journey we make. I would not recommend this product and am seriously put off the brand with such a poor quality product.

This is a significant design issue that is starting to impact a high number of purchasers of this seat and MaxiCosi should do the decent thing and inform any resellers to issue a full refund for those encountering this problem.I would strongly, strongly advise those who are thinking of buying this seat to carefully look at the reviews online of those who have had it more than a few weeks and to look at other options.

design flaw
19 June 2023

When my child grew up, I extended the back part of the seat that I bought 2 years ago. this caused a problem. The cover keeps coming off. This is because when the back is in the down position, the wings at the bottom prevented the back from opening and the sheath did not come off because it was not stretched. However, when you extend the back part, when it comes to the position that the side supports cannot support, the back side parts are opened. for this reason, the stretched sheath comes out from the edges. I think it's a design flaw
