Excellent lower end car seat which is suitable from birth, this seat was recommended to me by multiple people and also one of the better, more safe car seats on the market. Separate isofix base available to buy if your car has it. Lovely stuff

Having got a shoulder injury I was instantly attracted to this baby car seat with it being lightweight and easy to fix. It is a lot lighter than others I have seen, so really happy with this.It is easy to fix and transfer between mine and my partners cars as well as move onto the pram fittings. My baby always appears to be very comfortable in it and sleeps happily in there.Overall, I would say it is a very functional, easy to fit and safe car seat that my baby is happy in, I would recommend for being lightweight and comfortable for my little one.

Ordered the maxi-cosi cabriofix after watching many reviews and deciding this would be the perfect carseat to bring baby home. Upon delivery,I was slightly upset to see a few marks on the back and parts of the foam filling seem to be misshapen,not sure if this is just a design fault or packaging issue but it is certainly less secure on one side than the other. The carseat as a whole is brilliant however it does seem although this is a display model or one that has been sent back,which is a shame and slightly disappointing for a first time mum.

I love the maxi cosi brand I also used it for my first child and same now I'm using for my second one . Great quality and very padded comfortable for new born good support around the baby. The material is good quality and really easy to use the strapes,easy to carry and install. Light weight have a sun shade which is good . Fits into the isofix and bush hair . Overall great and safe product for newborn.
This car seat is incredibly light which helps with the heavy lifting us new parents do! The fabric is really good quality and the seat is very comfortable for baby. The sunshade is very thin and keeps the sun off baby's face.Our only difficulty with this car seat has been fitting the seatbelt around it it can be quite fiddly. Overall, a great product!
On 25th May I was unfortunate to be involved in an accident with my 9 month old daughter in the car. The Maxi-Cosi Cabriofix seat and isofix base worked their magic and she was absolutely fine. I contacted Maxi-Cosi to ask whether I should replace the car seat and to my amazement they told me they could offer a replacement free of charge. Today my old seat and base were collected by DPD and replaced with a new seat and base. The customer service I received was outstanding and I cannot thank them enough. I'm really kicking myself now for not buying the Pebble seat ready for when my daughter moves to her next seat. I highly recommend Maxi-Cosi not only for the quality of their products but for peace of mind should you ever find yourself in the same situation. We have had this car seat for around month now and it replaced a gifted car seat that we had previously. In comparison, this seat is so light and much easier to carry with an ever growing baby!The seat is easy to fit to and remove from the base with a simple release mechanism on the base. If you do forget, the pictorial instructions on the seat provide a handy reminder.Alongside the ISOFIX attachment of the base, the seat belt also adds further security, though it is difficult to attach the seat belt. There seems to be a particular knack to it that I haven't figured out yet!
I got this seat for our new baby and have been extremely pleased with it. Firstly because it is SO light! This means a lot when you’re carrying around a baby who seems to get heavier each day. My previous car seat was a lot heavier. Secondly my baby really seems snug in it and sleeps well in the car. It seems safe and is firmly in place with both the ISO fix and with the seatbelt. I also like how easy it is to transfer between the car and our buggy with the clips you can buy to fit onto them. Means we can extend that nap time… Overall we are super happy with this car seat and would highly recommend it.
I was lead towards this carseat due to it being advertised as lightweight. It really is light weight! I don't need help when I'm getting my baby out of the car and it was something I was worried about. Really eased my anxiety and baby looks super comfortable. Really happy with it.
We originally had a seat from another brand that had a waist band strap. Our daughter was 5lb14 and no matter what I did I couldn't get the straps to look comfortable on her and look safe. Pulling them tight at the shoulders pulled the waist band into her tiny hips and it looked so uncomfortable. In the end we went for one of these after trying a friends and it looked so much better. I could pull it tight but she still looked comfortable, it's easy to take the covers off for washing and the base was an absolute god send. She's still in it now at 13 months as she's still fine size wise so it's been a really good investment and the base being a seat belt fit was essential for us as we swooped between vehicles including a van which didn't have isofix.
