A pretty enjoyable game.

It came on time like most things I order on Ebay. And I overall enjoy the game. For one, the box art cover is real cool and well made. While sometimes the controls can be a little junky, its still playable and works well. There's alot of play value in the game, from game modes, collectibles like soundtracks, Mii Costumes, and facts about the Olympic games. And to conclude this, the cgi cutscenes are of course beautiful. May not be saying much given its a 2009 game and graphics were quite at a peak then, but I adore those kind of cgi cutscenes. I would recommend giving it a shot. You'll enjoy it.

Purchased for the family last holiday, and everyone enjoys all the competitions. This game is really a lot of fun! Diving back in to purchase more games.

Sonic Games

It had a lot of dirt on it, but I was able to clean it off of the case. The dirt did stain a corner of the cover art though, so thats not coming off. The game works great, and everything is there. None of games were in the condition from the picture. There was also dirt on one of the other games that came with it, but that one cleaned perfectly. The third one was sun damaged, but thats a little more acceptable because it was a buy two get one free, and I still ended up paying less than I wouldve for the first two.

There's nothing overly bad about this game, but nothing overly good about it, either.When you first start the game, it presents itself nicely, but quickly you'll find everything just feels unpolished.The original (summer) Mario & Sonic Olympic games was made with under a year of development, this sequel had a full two years of development time, yet it's less polished than the first one.Load times are far longer than the first game, and simple things like connecting to the WiFi connection to update scores takes a life time.Of all the events, only the curling (yes, curling) is particularly well pulled off. I bought this when it was first released in 2010! We loved it so much and it got scratched over the years so badly it was no longer able to be read in my machine and now with isolation everyone seems to be in bidding wars to buy it. I only need the disc and so I had the bright idea to just buy one. No bidding just buy now and I have it. Already played it and it is as good as I remember! Free postage and it was delivered on the day it was said. Very happy, great price and I would recommend for anyone looking g for family games. The wii is easily my favourite console and my children dont until I play and they want to win! Great game. Really.

Once again Nintendo ventures boldly out into the world of Olympics,this time their take is on the 2008 Winter games held in Vancouver. A slickly made game play and enhanced graphics make this a joy to behold, for young or old,it's streets ahead of the earlier offering with a finely honed simplistic play, but still a total blast! The controls have been tightened up,tweaked and refined nicely. to almost near perfection, utilizing the full motion detection playability of the Wii's system Gone the somewhat occasional frustrating mechanics and replaced by a smoother more fluid feeling, add this to the experience and it makes this one of the best Olympic based games on any platform. A few textures look a little rough and jagged but this is acceptable enough for the Wii. The colour palate is vibrant and bright giving that rich high contrasted arcade appeal, it's pleasing to see,enthralling eye candy; weather for nostalgic casual gamers or modern more harder core platform players.. If you have a Wii and some friends around, you really owe it to yourself to give this one a definite spin on the system. In my opinion, from experience, a must to get is a composite cable and junk the standard boxed component one........not true High Definition, but for the Wii's capabilities its rendered at an enhanced 720 dpi and will give you the best visual and audio presentation from what this game has to offer. Verdict. Nintendo really nails the Olympic experience in its own glorious lush way;with colourful characters and great physics and a well produced audio design to boot. If you want a family game that's hugely enjoyable for just about anyone. this is a sure fire resounding hit. And always remember it's full of all of SEGA's best loved icons like Mario,Shadow and my favourite, Sonic ,that just seals the deal ! Overall,a fantastic looking and super enjoyable game that's just bags of fun....oodles and oodles of it in fact...... in a way only Nintendo can do...... and do well!.......its a real gem! Nintendo certainly won GOLD on this one, Happy days..................
