Manfrotto Compact Light Tripod (Black)
The Compact Light is the lightest tripod in Manfrotto's product range. It is the middle ground between a mini tripod and a standard-sized tripod. It is ideally suited to all compact system cameras. Thanks to its small dimensions and it being as light as a feather, it will be your constant companion. Thanks to the universal ¼ inch camera attachment and the new quick wheel, you can attach and detach your camera in seconds. With the help of the inbuilt ball head and the single adjusting knob, you can quickly set the camera position and block all movements.Compatibility- The Compact Light is designed for compact system cameras. Thanks to the universal ¼ inch screw thread and the simple fastening system, it is ideally suited to use with numerous devices up to 1.5kg, such as iPhones (with KLYP+) and all kinds of compact and bridge cameras. If the Compact Light is used with an entry-level DSLR camera, only standard kit lenses should be used to ensure the same performance as with lighter cameras. Please be aware that a range of semi-professional and professional equipment exceed these requirements. If you have a Sony Nex 5R/5T, you have probably noticed that the surface area around the tripod thread is very small on these models. For this reason, a special adapter to increase the surface area on these special cameras and, therefore, increase their stability on the tripod comes with every Compact Light.

It is fine - a good lightweight tripod, well made, easy to use and convenient. The ball head works as it should; I have a big multi way head on my 'big' Manfrotto, but that doesn't move out of doors and the head on the new one is perfectly good for use with the film camera I use out and about.

Good build quality. Collapses to small, lightweight very portable size and extends to a very usable height. The only thing missing is a quick release plate, have to attach each time you use it or keep the camera attached - not ideal. Very good value and suits my needs.

Good for what it is - can be on the edge with a big lens in my brief use- but as lightweight tripod to carry in bag when you can't or don't want to carry big heavy one its great value for money solution. Its a Manfrotto so its well made and you should be able to get spares. Note the top ball joint mount will not come off - so any thoughts of changing it for a different head this is not the tripod for you, but again that.s a small thing. As a travel tripod cycling etc think it would be very good

I packed it into my bag for multiple long road trips where it was getting banged around in the back of a van with other heavy gear and it stood up well for a couple years. I went to use it the other day and noticed it had broken, not entirely sure how it happened, but I'm sad to see it go. I'll likely be upgrading to the next element Traveller next, but this is a good little tripod. I used it with a Sony A7II (mostly with lighter lenses), a couple brownie cameras which were pretty light, but it also held up my various Rolleiflex Cameras well, and those things are pretty heavy.
Very happy, stable reasonably light weight and moderately compact. Very good construction as you would expect from the brand, not sure how it would support a DSLR with a large lens.
I'm really not sure why people give this such a bad review, it is what it is: a small, cheap, and VERY light tripod for compact systems. I use it with a Sony a6000 with a larger lens and it's perfect really. I will say that it's not the highest build quality, but that's the point here. It's SO light weight, simple to use, and low cost. The overall high fully extended is not very tall, but again, it cuts down on weight. It's designed for travel for a compact travel system. (Or for cell phone, point & shoot, or gopro) The best tripod is the one you have with you. And because this is so small and light, I always have it with me. My larger tripod stays at home.
Good Points: Lightweight, simple to use. Good design and suitable for a modern 'enthusiast' compact camera. The carry case is also a useful item and adds very little extra weight.Improvement Points: At the time of buying there was an extra £10 price for the red version compared to the black version. (Not the case now - they are both at the more expensive price as at June 2017).
This is for a small camera or cellphone. If you tend to handle things stiffly, then this is not for you. Buy something solidly built.I love that it's very light, and small.I have a monopod, but this tripods provides better stability in any surface.

I loved this tripod. Very sturdy and stable. Fantastic length and goes in to it self making it very compact for travelling. Comes with a quality handy bag to put the tripod away. Fantastic for landscap pictures and even portrait pictures. Fantastic use with my canon camera connect app as I could control my cameras from a long distant with the tripod for selfie portraits. Give this tripod 10/10. Would loved it to have a handle to sway it around to capture smoother videos. Its also value for money defiantly would recommend it.
