This candle is bougie and I love it haha. I'm not sure how they managed to perfectly capture the scent of walking through a pine tree forest. Despite being sensitive to certain fragrances, I can't help but keep sniffing it. This luxurious candle would make an ideal gift for anyone who appreciates the finer things in life. When I first received this candle the pine scent was so strong that I had a throbbing headache within 5 minutes of opening the packaging it came in. I am typically fairly sensitive to pine scents and generally avoid them, so I was pretty wary of this product. I decided to just set it on the counter and see if I was able to get used to it. I let it sit there for a bit while I finished burning the candle I had previously been using. The scent became less offensive after a week or so and today I finally lit it. I have got to say, this is the most lovely scent! The pine is far less prominent...it is such a warm, woodsy, masculine scent. It just smells Christmassy and luxurious. I'm going to have to find a way to make this one last until Christmas morning. I’m loving this candle! This scent is definitely more wintery in my opinion but really cozies up my apartment. It’s a more masculine scent but I love it! It’s very potent so it definitely has a good throw and lasts long. It’s not overwhelming either to where it suffocates a room. Also a bonus is that the candle packaging itself is super cute and aesthetically fits into any home! Highly recommend!

My Texas home smells like a December in Colorado

I am a huge fan of Maison Margiela perfume fragrances (Lazy Sunday Morning, By the Fireplace). Their candles do not disappoint. You can smell the candle before removing it from its packaging. The description of the scent is very accurate, it is an earthy and woody fragrance, with the leading scent being pine. I love the minimalistic look of the candle. It burns cleanly and the throw of the scent is strong. The perfect candle for the upcoming holiday season.

Worth it if you rotate with other scents

If there's one thing I can't stand, it's a weak candle. This baby is STRONG! Very good throw, super fresh piney scent, and an even wax melt. Everything you could want in a holiday candle. Makes the house feel ready for the season! Slow evap too, so I can probably get 2 or even 3 years of use out of it. That's the only reason I'm giving it 5 stars, because the price is too high for an everyday candle. Something only for the holiday months is fine, since I have tons of other holiday candles I burn too. If this is your ONLY holiday candle, then it's a steep price for 1 season's worth of use.
