If you enjoy the smell of talcum powder, this perfume is the one for you. It’s an explosion of sweetness and powder, which definitely isn’t for me. It’s in offensive enough, but definitely a more mature or even elderly scent. I can’t imagine this not being too strong for most people. One of the things MFK excels at is strength of fragrance and longevity but here that’s one of the biggest problems.. I could easily see this causing migraines for those who have sensitivities to fragrances. It’s a mess for me.

I absolutely LOVE our satin mood. Wow, what an incredible perfume. I got a sampler box from Maison Francis Kurkdjian for Baccarat Rouge 540 (and I still love that too), but wow did satin mood steal the show. It’s just an incredibly sexy, mysterious, and clean scent. It lasts all day on me and is very strong - one spritz and I’m good to go. This perfume smells like the rich, woke, auntie with incredible taste and is perceptive as a whip. Nothing gets by her, but she’ll wait till you’re ready to come to her. A lot of people would say this is not for the office, but the rose and musk make it juuuuuust safe enough to get away with it imho. Just be sure not to overspray and enjoy letting the compliments roll in

This is NOT blind buy safe at all! Please sample this before you buy, at first when I sampled it gave off an overpowering oud scent. To the point it was way to strong off the first spray. However, wait 15-20 minutes and you will be in love especially when it starts to dry down. Dry down period starts to smell very powdery/clean scent which I absolutely love. I really enjoy this fragrance, it is an unisex scent. The longevity of the fragrance does last from 10-12 hrs. I’ve received so many compliments on this fragrance.

This brand is known for their Baccarat Rouge 540 but that one is not my cup of tea since it's so popular and kind of overrated. Oud satin mood is indeed, my most and forever favorite from the brand. I've received so many compliments for it. It's sweet, warm, luxury rose note, a little powdery and oud touch. This perfume could last 12 hours and plus on my skin which worths every penny for its price. I got the extrait de parfume which is more concentrated. You only need 2/3 sprays and it's good all day long. However it's strong and very unique scent, you should get a sample first before deciding to get one. It's both my husband and me's favorite and definitely works for both men and women. Can't tell you how much I adore and love this perfume ❤!!!

I pulsed some on my wrists and within an hour it was gone . I was very sad considering the money I paid but I like the man behind this scent because he also is the man behind another favourite perfume of mine by JPL “ la male la parfum “ .This thing , you’ll smell it for days . great perfume, of course, I bought from a nice reputable seller and was lucky enough NOT to pay a fortune at the Newman Markus. Like the scent it's light and fresh like everything Kurkjian makes,most of his perfumes smell the same. with the best being OUD. just oud then I'd say Oud Satin moon, then Gentle Fluidity SILVER than this one and of course, GRAND SOIR is fantastic amber top-notch. I don't recommend 540 Boccarat, but just like all of you run and buy LV just because others do you will go and buy Boccarat, but its tasteless and primitive. Viola!
I received a sample of this when I purchased a fresh bottle of the Rouge 540, and now I have some regrets - should have bought the Silk Mood instead as my new go-to.It comes across as fairly strong but once it settles, it has a beautifully warm scent. It reminds me of a warm spot in front of a fireplace with a spice candle burning in the background. It has notes of vanilla, but it's ever so gentle and once it settles into the skin, it's absolutely wonderful. I think it would make a wonderful wintertime perfume however, works in warmer temperatures as well. It is long lasting, and you only need a small amount of it.
As far as unisex fragrances go, this one definitely veers more towards the masculine, however it's s sweet, addictive and unique fragrance, and even if I don't feel confident enough to pull this one off at work or social gatherings, I still keep a tiny vial of it just for me, and me alone, for my own smelling pleasure. I usually go with woody scents, and occasionally a gourmand - this was surprisingly compelling and I find it so enjoyable to wear. It envelops and has a heady silage that lasts all day. You don't need much - and like the popular Baccarat Rouge, it is a stronger scent that really throws well. It also shares with the rouge a sweetness, mixed with a warmer heart that has a spicy edge to it. I would say that the notes in the perfume as a description do make sense, but without smelling it you miss the alchemy. There are several in the MFK line that are equally enticing. Bit of a splurge but very worth it. If you can't get to a store and are curious, check out the ...
