I haven't been taking these long enough to notice any positive health benefits, but I have some initial thoughts. I've had no side effects at all. I know many magnesium supplements can have a laxative effect, but these are ok for me. I have a sensitive stomach to the point that I cannot take many multivitamins without vomiting, but these cause no problem.The pills are very large, skinny and flat. I had a hard time swallowing them, but discovered they easily snap in half, so I do that now. I don't like the fact this supplement says it's made with genetically modified organisms.
I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes at the beginning of Feb. My A1C was 11.7%. I researched a ton on Magnesium and Diabetes 2 being linked so I started taking these about a month and half ago. As of yesterday my A1C dropped to 8%! My Doc was Shocked because even Metformin can only drop you about 1.5% in a 3 month period if you're lucky. That is because Drs only treat symptoms not Cause. If this keeps up I may be at normal levels in 3 months at my next test. Added benefit was my chronic inflammation back pain went away within 3 hours of my first dose and has not returned. I have been dealing with that for 33 years!
After several years of hearing about the many benefits of magnesium taurate, I FINALLY gave it a try.... and, am now upset with myself for not trying it sooner! Within just a few days, the movement in my knees seemed far smoother and I feel less inflammation overall. Another unforeseen benefit is that I find myself being far more calm and able to fall asleep quicker. I am back to buy another bottle!
The container appears exactly as the picture, as depicted. I have had issues sleeping and this has benefited me tremendously. I have been able to sleep though the night a bit better. There’s no bad taste, I will say it depends on how well your taste buds are but for me it’s pretty bland in flavor. I’m now beginning my journey with taking magnesium but I hope the benefits are worth it. The size of the supplement is quite large but overall I like the quality of the supplement.The are only a few ingredients in this supplement as well so I’m very appreciative of that.
Very good quality product. No taste at all. My dosage - 1 pill a day. I may double it because 100 mg is a very low dosage. I've been using it for several months. It makes me think and sleep much better. I take it in combination with KAL, Chelated Magnesium Bisglycinate 315 mg for better sleep, bone and muscle health.
This is a good product, those that are reviewing and complaining about the NGO and bio-engineered need to do research before buying a product. Taurate is an amino acid added to the magnesium to give it its usefulness, that is what makes it what it is. Please PLEASE do your research before buying a supplement, especially minerals. They do not always work by themselves and need something else to help absorb into your body. If not for the added ingredient, it may just pass through you.
