This is my recent purchase, before than I had a 2017 version!! This is literally a game-changer for creative professionals or anyone!! There are so many little details about it which have been improved in this version. Let’s talk about my favorite feature in it so far: 1) Its keyboard!! Yes!! The other one used to feel like a fake version with a sound like typewriter and it was not friendly to use, my fingers used to hurt. This one is so much easier to use and feel like a normal keyboard with a soft press. 2) The amazing trackpad, that lets your click anywhere!! 3) The upper Touch Bar looks fancy with all the volume and brightness display!! 4) Its webcam quality Is exceptionally good, Like you could take amazing selfies with it!! Color: space gray

This is the last great MacBook Pro made by Apple. It runs up to Catalina OS with the latest browsers. It is upgradable to 16GB RAM which is the same as the maximum allowed now in the latest MacBook Pro line due to Apple deciding to make all their hardware soldered onto the logic board, NOT upgradable with RAM and the SSD drives and now batteries too. That is SHAMEFUL, which makes THIS MBP a really great option for being able to run the great OS versions AND to be able to upgrade the hard drive/SSD to any size available as a SATA device. Not to mention the CD/DVD internal media drives which is the MAIN selling point of these devices now. Truly an All-In-One laptop that makes all the newer ones pale into insignificance!

I was super excited to have the M1 chip (a chip made by apple for apple) instead of a intel chip. The reason is what makes apple products work so well is the components inside them all are designed for this one product and everything just works beautifully together! If you own other apple products like a iPhone or Apple Watch everything across all devices are always synced and ready to go. You take a photo with your iPhone and Bam! It’s now on your laptop as well! You update your calendar on the Mac and Bam! It’s now on your calendar app on your phone! I just love the seemlessness of it all

The newer M2 chip provides for faster access to memory and an option for 24GB of Ram. Slightly faster power adaptor which isn't much of an issue since I use Anker charging cords and products. All in all not much difference in performance but that'll vary depending on what you use it for. Photoshop is zippier, especially with larger files, but I have no way of quantifying that. I think Apple says the M2 is around 20% better than their M1 models and I'll just have to take their word for that. It is a nice machine and I have no complaints about it. I'd buy it again.
Battery is completely shot. I’ve had laptop for over a week and it has completely been unusable. As soon as I unplug it from 100% charge it dies within 10-15 minutes of SIMPLE use. By simple I mean SIMPLY being just powered on w/ no apps running.Checked “battery health” on laptop and it reads “normal” — but this is false. The battery is shot.I would appreciate a PARTIAL REFUND or NEW BATTERY to be send ASAP as I have a live performance I need to use the laptop for. 2300$ to buy a laptop that doesn’t hold a charge for more than 10minutes?!I haven’t been able to use or enjoy it once it’s caused immense amounts of stress and now I am insanely unprepared for a very important event I was to perform.ANSWER YOUR TELEPHONE PLEASE! Thank you.
I've only used it 2 days. Startup was never that easy. WiFi quality is very good, I got a long list of SSID I don't have in other devices at home. In my SSID I also have an iMac from where I could easily load files and personal data to this macbook. I tried Adobe Premiere with a 5.1K video and it played smoothly, I didn't have to create smaller proxies for edition. I didn't applied hard effects but with Adjustment Layers it played good. Fingerprint recognition is very good. Battery time is awesome. For now I cannot add more of the several features this macbook has.
NOT EXCELLENT CONDITION I would grade this "refurbish" as a C-. My keyboard has stains that are not removable, making it look constantly oil-stained. The computer came with fingerprints on the screen, flecks of food on the outside, and overall obviously not cleaned. While the computer was not hard to clean, the keyboard still remains stained with the mystery gunk. This device clearly had nothing done to "refurbish" it. My battery state is 90%, so halfway to completely useless. The computer also does NOT come with a MagSafe charger included.
I've been a Mac user (on and off, but mostly on) since 1985. The ease of use of the Mac platform is the whole reason I have a career in IT. While I started out on a Mac, I now work mostly with Windows-based PC's. When people ask for a laptop recommendation, I usually steer them towards a Windows computer, mostly based on price and an OS with which they are already familiar. However, when it came time for me to buy a more portable laptop that I could take on service calls, I decided on the 13.3 M2 Macbook Pro, and I have been extremely happy with my decision. Second, I notice very little heat when I have it in my lap, even when I'm charging it (as opposed to another 13 Windows laptop I was setting up at the same time that felt like it was going to burn my lap). Third, the battery life is outstanding. I can use it frequently and for hours at a time over several days on a single charge.Bonus points: on my first outing to a well-known coffee shop, when I went to take a sip of coffee, my cup collapsed and I spilled a good amount of coffee on they keyboard and speaker area (a form of christening I suppose). I shook it off, wiped it dry and everything still works (as far as I know).Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend the 13.3 M2 Macbooks (as well as B&H) to any prospective customer.
I have the base model and for what I use it for, it plenty powerful. The build quality is the best in the world - but we all knew that with Apple products. The mini LED screen is OLED-like. The speakers are have bass?! MacBooks have always had the best laptop speakers in the world. I like the full-sized function row. Touch ID is the best: quick and snappy. If you buy it used, its good value. If you buy it new, not so much. It is expensive at $2,500 plus tax. I was going to buy a new M2 MB Air, but getting the 512gb SSD plus 16gb of RAM wouldve cost about $1,700 plus tax. Thats only ~$300 away from a 16 M1 MBP! Apple is very good at its price ladders!
This laptop does exactly what it needs to do. It's M1 Apple processor delivers high performance that handles high impact programs like photoshop, aftereffects & illustrator. The only thing that keeps this from being a perfect score is the SSD space. I don't even think these laptops should come with 512gb or less anymore. 1TB should be the standard. But of course that's just my opinion. The smaller SSD obviously allows for a slightly better value, and if you're someone who relies on external hard drives then it probably won't be that big of a deal. However, if you plan on migrating data that exceeds half a TB & you want the process to be easy without running programs & opening docs from said external, or relying on a bunch of cloud-like devices... then you're ... Either way, it's a great machine so far. I also love that some aspects have reverted back to the older thicker macbook pros, with more of an emphasis on maximizing side port options & less on trivial bells & whistles for design's sake. Again, great buy whether new, refurbished or used.
