Mac Lipstick - Locked Kiss Ink 24hr Lipcolour - Poncy - 4 ml

Quality:highly pigmented. I only need to use one pass to cover my normally dark lips. The freebie Tarnished Reputation matte lipstick doesn’t have good coverage/pigmentation vs my Store bought Chili Matte Lipstick. The store bought one glides better (like butter) vs the freebie that felt more like lip balm than lipstick Texture:has a lighter/less viscous texture than Maybelline’s Superstay Matte Ink and Mac smells better. 24 hrs? not even 2 hrs

I am always skeptical about any lipstick that says they are 24 hours. My go to is the MAC retro red fashion legacy although that isn't 24 hours either but it lasts longer on lips than this one. None of them are kiss proof, transferproof - waterproof? maybe a little but unless you plan on starving yourself and not drinking anything all day, it will come off with your food/drink.It isn't matte like my go to and has a softer feel, but it comes off easily and moves around the face if you are eating and drinking. This does every morning with my on the way to work breakfast coffee and croissant. Once built up, it is highly highly pigmented and gorgeous! It feels very similar to NYX's soft matte cream lip but higher end and a much better quality! It dries down fast and doesn't sink into fine lines. It has a matte finish but is not drying at all. It feels nice and powdery on the lip once it dries down and it truly is kiss ink! I've tested it with my husband and dog and this baby never budged! 💋My husband was very happy that it didn't transfer on his lips and he can enjoy the color only on me lol. I went an entire day, eating and drinking and it did fade over time, not entirely lasting the promised 24 hrs but it is still a very long wear lip color (6+ hours). I would recommend popping it into your bag for reapplication throughout the day. I also loved how versatile it could be. I found that I could give one swipe and blend it all around my lips for a more natural lip tint look as well as using multiple layers to get an opaque dramatic glam look. Overall I would highly recommend!

Gorgeous color in a modern longwear formula

I revived this product complimentary from MAC and Bzzagent in exchange for y honest review. I have been a longtime user of MAC cosmetics, so I was really excited to try this formula. I like liquid lipsticks, but I generally find them to be drying with continued use. I received the shade Decadence, which is a warm midtone rose color. It compliments my light, yellow undertoned skin perfectly! The formula starts off thin, but not runny-so it is very easy to control and it takes a very conservative amount of product to get the desired effect. No need to worry about getting lipstick on everyone

I honestly hate wearing lipstick because of the process of getting it everywhere, having to reapply it, and if inevitably getting on my clothes somehow. I love color, especially a more mute reddish pink tone, but I haven't been able to find something that I won't have to worry about if I accidentally leave the tube at home. This is it. Literally what I have been waiting for. I did not have high hopes as regular Mac lipsticks definitely transfer but my expectations where blown through the roof. This lipstick is not only full coverage and a vibrant color, but it can easily last 8-10 hours. The trick is to use this one clean DRY lips and to let it FULLY DRY. Once it dries, you can literally rub your lips and it won't budge. That being said, if you lick your lips a lot, the product will eventually break down but that's a given. I am brutally honest when it comes to make up because I pretty much wear it everyday and I have somehow worn this color almost everyday since getting it. Pro-tip, apply a dap of color and spread a more translucent layer all over your lips. Then you can add lip gloss on top and you basically have a lip stain that will last a good majority of the day. You will only really have to reapply the gloss. Don't walk, RUN to get this!!!Also I just thought of this but you could probably use the lip stain technique to use this as a long lasting blush. Haven't tried but definitely will.

I use a lot of liquid lips and consider myself a snob about them: I'm very critical and won't use them at all if they don't dry down completely or have a poor applicator wand since I like bold vibrant colors. If they smudge even a little, they look terrible. That being said, this product met my strict standards and even dried down quicker than a lot of the other ones I enjoy. It passes the 'kiss test' within a minute or so which is impressive. It does feel a little heavier than some of the other ones but the coverage is very nice and the color is vibrant. I like the wand too: its small and angled well, making it easy to 'color within the lines' and follow the shape of your lips. The lasting power is also quite impressive. Poor product and unknowledgeable staff

I went into the MAC store, where the MAC employee assisted me and raved about the product. I am a big fan of reds and already had an amazing 24 hour red lipstick on (from a different brand). The employee raved about it and gave me a demo by applying it on her hand. I was initially impressed with the matte finish and the fact that it was not smudging but I did not like the shade. I asked if there were other reds available and she recommended Ruby True which she said was "a better version of Ruby Woo" which is a favourite. I stated that I did not like orange in my red lipsticks, she said that this lipstick had blue pigment and there was no orange shade. I have all of my makeup from MAC aside from my primer, theirs just wasn't for me. I have NEVER truly hated a product until now! It isn't cheap but I have always found it worth it until now. I truly feel cheated with this lipstick and astounds me it's still being sold with the amount of complaints and the knowledge staff have of the feedback! It's like an awful think and chunky ugly lip liner! It was so embarrassing and I was constantly having to reapply the whole night just to try and not feel so 'gross' I previously had a favourite red in vintage matt style and was convinced my the sales rep that this was a complete upgrade of that version. Money down the drain! None of the 'product benefits' are true. MAC support your supporters and pull the product. not for me, but a good matte liquid lipstick

I will be honest and say this is not for me. I am very fair and it is an extremely deep, purplish red. It is beautiful, but not for me. I went through a liquid lipstick phase in my teens but I am more of a gloss/glossy balm/tinted balm person -- I prefer a natural finish. I do have one major critique: when I initially applied this, I noticed that the majority of the pigment/color was concentrated toward the outer edge of my lips, while the more moist inner areas of my top and bottom lips were a bit paler in comparison. Because the shade is so dark, this difference was glaringly apparent. I attempted to fix this with a second layer concentrated toward the inner part of my lips -- and even parted them and fanned to dry hoping this would reduce moisture and even out the color -- but the product would not stick and the weird gradient effect remained. I tried a couple more times but eventually gave up, because a product shouldn't really take this much tweaking to look normal. I docked a star and a half for that. Overall, this is a comfortable, pretty matte lip product with an inoffensive scent and pretty easy applicator.
