Galison Puzzle London by Michael Storrings 1000 Piece

Personally, my brain pigeon holes jigsaws along with Sudoku in the "torturous, frustrating and non-constructive waste of time" category. But my wife loved this jigsaw puzzle to keep her mind off work. We both love London and so it was a pleasure to see her working through this jigsaw on the kitchen table. A scene many millions of Londoners and tourists alike will be familiar with: Picadilly Circus. 🇬🇧❤️

Proudly finished this Michael Storrings jigsaw puzzle. 1,000 pieces of fun. I’ve lived in London twice, each time just for a few months, and working on this puzzle reminded me of how much I miss the sights and the sounds of the city.

Buy this puzzle for yourself and your puzzle loving friends! Such a challenging and fun puzzle and would make a great gift. The box is high quality, the pieces are just the right thickness.Really enjoyed this one. This jigsaw puzzle was much harder than it looks and I loved every minute of it!

Definitely recommend

Galison puzzles never disappoint. Michael Storrings definitely captures even the smallest of details in his puzzles. Great quality pieces with such a uniqueness in images and style. They really stand out. Not completed this one yet but looking forward to doing it. Would definitely recommend

Faulty, so very disappointing

I was hoping to leave a 5 star* review, however I bought this puzzle for my mother while self-isolating to find out that the puzzle pieces inside do not match the picture on the box. To provide more detail...the edging of her puzzle starts 3 lines up from the image shown on the box and on the guide picture on the inside. Unsure how she will complete this puzzle? Ive never known for this to happen, and I am extremely disappointed as Im a loyal JL customer and have purchased similar products previously with no such issues. Such a shame, and now due the closing of your stores (for valid reasons) im stuck with a product thats not fit for purpose and an inadequate gift for anyone

Great

I particularly enjoy the Michael Storrings puzzles. They’re tricky, but not impossible. After discovering Galison I like to have a puzzle on the go all the time. Some days I may not add many pieces, other days I get engrossed.Love them.

Great puzzle but...

This is a great puzzle, really fun to do and lasted a good week visiting it on and off. I would have left it 5 stars but we also experienced the difference between the box picture and the actual puzzle itself. It did make getting the edge harder but once made, there was no stopping us. Its good quality, fits together well and I would suggest to anyone buying it to see the picture / puzzle difference as just an extra challenge.

London

Presently a work in progress and my.respite from spending time with my husband of 61 years who is receiving skilled care in nursing facility. I love the Michael Storrings puzzles and have ten of his 1000 and over piece puzzles.

Lovely Puzzle!

This was a challenging puzzle because it is not a crisp, clear picture. But it was fun to piece together. I have been to London and I decided to get it in honor of the Queen's 70th! Galison puzzles are well cut and well made and fun!

Solid well cut and challenging

Thought this would be easy by starting with all the red pieces. Turned out to be quite challenging and satisfying. My sister in law happily wanted to take the fantastic jigsaw puzzle after we broke the work apart. We still have many unopened Galison puzzles to enjoy.
