I've found that when a mouse gets old it "stutters." That is it will click twice when I only meant to click once and this has lead to some unwanted deletions. I like Logitech's products and the price was right. If this mouse lasts as long as my previous (more expensive) mouse, then I will be very happy.

This mouse is perfect for daily use on both Windows computers and Google Chromebooks (I don't own any Apple computers so I can't say nothing about those.) This product appears to be an almost exact copy (in terms of funtion) of the mouse that comes with the Logitech M185 wireless keyboard/mouse combo pack. This single blue mouse however has a more matte finish on the top as opposed to the combo pack mouse; that of which is the same type of plastic that's typical on most keyboards. This mouse installs quickly when plugged in for the first time and glides smoothly on my mouse pad. Clicking with this mouse is very satisfying and the scrolling wheel works well. The size of the mouse itself can be considered on the small side but I'm fine with that; it's not THAT small anyway if you ask me. The quality of the mouse's build is decent, it's almost completely plastic except for the scroll wheel (it's rubberized like most mice). The sides of this model in particular, the part where your thumb and pinky fingers typically rest, are plastic without any type of cushioning. If you'd prefer one with thin rubbercushions on the sides, then get the Logitech model "M317" pc mouse instead. Overall, I love this mouse a lot and highly recommend it to anyone who's on the lookout for computer mice at a decent price.

I bought this mouse a month ago and it's working great. I've dropped it at least three times, it flew across the floor and the battery cover came off, and it still works great. It's not heavy to use, it fits nicely in my hand, it glides nicely, and it's accurate. I saw a couple reviews about people not getting the usb receiver, I think it's possible those people just couldn't find it, so I included a picture of the location. I remember wondering where the usb receiver was when I first opened the mouse. You have to take off the battery cover and pull the receiver out of a little slot. Since everything is black it blends in and I don't think there were instructions (or there were and I threw them away). Anyhow, I recommend this mouse. Pros: I have purchased at least 5 of the M185 wireless mouse in recent years. The design and operation are perfect for my use. Shape is perfect. The size is perfect. The storage slot for the wireless receiver, inside the mouse, is a brilliant feature.Cons: I have seen reviews of this mouse complaining that the wireless receiver was not supplied with the mouse. Please include mention of the wireless receiver storage location in the instructions.
I am very pleased with Logitech M185 Wireless Computer Mouse. This is my 1st experience with a wireless and it makes the workspace more usable with no wire in the way. Also, the clicking function is so easy and I'm adjusting to that change. My only suggestion is that I wish your ad included the fact that a receiver is included, actually inside the mouse. I couldn't find that information.
One star only because required to rate in order to review. I ordered this mouse because the one I had was very small and made my hand hurt after prolonged computer work. I specifically chose this one because I like logitech and because the dimensions were specified as 3.58 by 5.83 by 8.70 inches. I finally received it today, and it is crazy small. I measured it and found the dimensions to be approximately 4 by 2.5 by 1.5. It is smaller than the mobile mouse I already have. I am extremely disappointed and now in a bind because I wasted time waiting for this one which was nothing as claimed.
Always stock up when these are on sale. The battery generally lasts one year without ever turning off ...say at night. We just power them on and leave them on. Nothing real fancy, just a good and simple quality product for general computer use
Pros: Very easy to set up. Have had the same brand of mouse before, and the battery has an impressive life span compared with other mice.Cons: The packaging has an empty bubble at the back. I returned the first mouse that was sent because I expected the bubble to contain the USB connector, the instructions and the battery. It turned out that these were actually in the mouse. The bubble seems to serve no purpose, and the mouse could be packaged more compactly without using hard plastic, which is difficult to open and can be hazardous when cut.
This is the best mouse I have ever used. I haven't tried that many but I'm so happy with it I don't feel the need to look any further...for now at least. It's lightweight for it's size; which is perfect for my hand. I ony hold it with my finger tips and don't have my hand resting on it, so it doesn't matter what ergonomic shape it is. The buttons respond really firmly and quickly, and the scroll is also quick to respond and clicks as you turn it but not so as to be annoying. The only thing which IS annoying for me is that it squeeks from time to time! I have experienced the same thing with other logitech mice I've used which were different models - the most recent one also stopped working after about a year which is why I bought this one...I hope the same thing ... MoreThis is the best mouse I have ever used. Also, for this particular purchase, the image shows a red mouse ane the one I received has a black top with red stripe around it. The description is black, but you might not guess exactly what it wil look like. It's not problem for me, I like it, but don't be surprised it the one you get doesn't look like the photo in the advert and isn't all black.
Rather than have the sides go straight back or even with a bit of oval bulge, they indent the sides making it narrower for you to pinch between thumb and pinky. That is, the grip is too narrow - and this is NOT a compact mouse. The buttons (left and right) are way too stiff, especially the middle button (scroll wheel). There is no way you're going to be fast multiple clicking in a game with this mouse. The balance is screwed up. This uses two AA batteries. They are at the back of the elongated mouse. When you go to lift the mouse (to reposition for continued movement back on the pad), it will fall back (tilt up) because your thumb and pinky are way forward of the center of the batteries. Versus the wireless mice that use a single AAA battery or my Kensington or Logitech wired mice, this must weigh 3 to 4 times more. With the tighter pinch width and a much heavier mouse, my pinky was getting tired after using this mouse for under a couple hours. It gets returned. I'll stick with wired mice that are lighter due them not having batteries and better balanced because, again, no batteries. Or I'll get a compact mouse (I have the Logitech M185 for my notebook) with just one tiny battery, lighter, and better balanced.
