Love this thing. Got rid of my shoulder and neck pain. I was worried about adjusting to this type of keyboard, but it only took about a week. The support team was nice when I could get someone, but it ended with waiting over an hour in a chat with no response. They did follow up via email within 24 hours after my third attempt to troubleshoot in the chat and asked for information to initiate a possible exchange, but was then told it was out of warranty. They are correct, 1 year warranty and I am at 1.5 years, but for a $130 keyboard there is no reason this should have suspected hardware issues and be inoperable just over 6 months outside of the warranty period.Before this was inoperable, I did have the occasional connectivity issue and would have to pull ... Many years ago I used a similar keyboard in a business setting; now with my home office and Macbook Air, I wanted to get an ergonomic keyboard to alleviate some of the issues I have with mild carpal tunnel syndrome. This really helps and allows me to work in comfort much longer. It is easy to get used to, and I have no trouble switching back and forth when I need to just use my laptop out and about (though there is a travel case made for this if you want/need to bring it along).As an FYI there is also an inexpensive clear keyboard protector available that fits like a glove (i.e. stays in place while typing).The numeric keyboard at the side is a really nice plus. However, it does not take long before the 50/50 hunting-and-pecking becomes second nature. All keys are in the same location, but the layout is strange to get used to. However, my hand supination is much more natural. It has alleviated most of the discomfort in my wrists! I bought this with the LIFT mouse to assist with nerve damage in my elbow... and I do not regret either purchase. This is a top-notch keyboard, impeccable quality! Logitech should have used a different texture/fabric on the wrist rest. One that feels more like fabric or leather would have been more comfortable on the wrist and looked far nicer. This looks cheap. Also, the wrist rest should be removeable.If Logitech would address these 3 issues, this keyboard would definitely be a 5-star product and would justify the price. Alternatively, if Logitech is not going to change these 3 things, then they would have to lower the price ($60 would be an appropriate price point) to get that 5th star. Smply put, the lack of backlighting, the lack of rechargeable batteries, and the cheap finish on the wrist rest make this keyboard overpriced.

I went online to the manufacturer's website to download instructions, which said the function of the F keys could be changed to other choices, but did not say they were programmable. It just had a list of other commands you could change the key to perform. So for example, the F1 key, which normally brings up Word Help, could be changed to one of several other specified operations, such as printing a document, or displaying your email or calculator, etc, but there was no option to call up a specific document or perform a macro like you could do on the 4000. I called the ERGO help line to find out how to program the keys, and they said, "Sorry, you can switch the function of the F keys to the alternate listed choices, but you can't program to do something else." So I returned the ERGO to Best Buy, and got a polite refund with no questions asked. I bought the $45 Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard, which also said on the back of the package that it had programmable keys. I was please to see that indeed it in addition to the F keys, it has three more unassigned keys that are fully programmable, just like the keys on the 4000 were (although the 4000 had five of those). And this keyboard is just as comfortable to use as the ERGO at 1/3 the price! The only advantage I can see with the K860 is that it is wireless, but I prefer wired because there are no batteries to fail and a wired connection is always better than wireless. By the way, the new $45 Microsoft Ergonomic keyboard is more comfortable with better key feel than my old 4000, so I am delighted with the new Microsoft keyboard. But if you want a wireless keyboard, don't need to program your keys, and don't mind paying $130 bucks for a keyboard no better than a $45 keyboard, go for it!

My favourite thing about it is being able to seamlessly switch between devices. Previously I have used the Microsoft Sculpt Ergo KB, but in four years I had bought it twice and both shortly after the 2 year warranty period was up the USB software corrupted... I hope this Logitech keyboard fares longer!Cons: Don't like how the properties/app button has moved to top right of the keyboard, whereas it's usually by the Alt Right keyNo light for Num Lock to show it's on/off (but there is for Caps Lock)It's expensive - but worth it when you think about just how much time you spend working or using the keyboard!

In recent years, I bought mechanical keyboards because I liked the old-fashioned feel, but this exacerbated my old injuries and required me to get another ergonomic keyboard. This took a little getting used to, but is just as comfortable, easy on the joints, and fast to type on as the old Microsoft Natural line of keyboards (that's a very high compliment from me). If you already have a Logitech Unifying receiver, you can download the Unifying software from Logitech and connect this keyboard to the Unifying dongle that you already have. As with all such wireless dongles, it is strongly recommended that you get a powered USB hub on your desktop (near your keyboard) and plug the dongle into the hub for the best reception for wireless devices on the desk. Some of the keys are programmable, but I only programmed the "lock" key in the upper-right because it seems inconvenient to have a key that might accidentally lock my computer and make me log back in. I don't know what material the palm rest is made of, but it's incredibly comfortable. The wrist rest also cannot be removed, so do keep that in mind. Like some Logitech mice (such as the Logitech MX Master 3), this can be paired to up to 3 devices, which is great as you can use your keyboard and mouse as a makeshift KVM switch and control multiple devices. The keyboard uses AAA batteries, and according to Logitech should last you about two years before you have to worry about replacing the batteries. While making the keyboard rechargeable like the G915 might have been nice, in a way, the AAA batteries are more convenient in my opinion as you don't have to worry about protecting the lifespan of the battery. This keyboard has not yet been added to Logi Options +, so you will have to install Logitech Options to gain full control over the keyboard's features. Does not work with G-Hub at all. The keyboard is admittedly a bit pricey, but worth every penny in my opinion.
I had a version of this keyboard years ago when I worked in an office 9-5pm. I bought it after getting neck problems from sitting at a desk all day. I think the curve and tilt really help keep the shoulders down and avoid neck and shoulders pain. This cordless ones means you can vary your position more easily. It also has a pleasant key action which is not too loud. Compared with my previous keyboard, which had a hard plastic wrist rest in the same material as the keyboard itself, this one is much more comfortable and the material and padding make it soft and warm to the touch (even in a cold home!). Our wrists are sensitive and having them in contact with a cold hard surface is not ideal. Remains to see how long it will last - it would have been good if the wrist ... Regarding value for money, I say yes now because I don't regret spending almost 100 on it for something I use every day. However, if it lasts less than five years with good care, that will be too expensive. I buy my laptops and phones second hand and my current ones, which I've had for about five years and two years, cost me 300 and 90 respectively. However, this eBay seller was 10-50% cheaper than logitech, Amazon, John Lewis, Currys and other retailers. THANK YOU
