I bought this specifically to play F1 2022 on the Xbox Series X. Before getting this wheel and pedal setup I was racing using the standard controller, every bend was a constant wiggle of the stick with the car jerking in to position. With the Logitech wheel you can accurately place the car where you want it round the corners, the force feedback is great as it has a good feel of weight as you corner. It also vibrates as you speed down the straights and corner when the track is bumpy.I read some reviews that said the brake pedal is very hard, perhaps too hard. It is definitely hard, but you can calibrate it inside the game so it's not an issue. For F1 2022 on the Xbox there are a lot of tweaks you can make to how the wheel and pedals perform so it feels good for you specifically.Overall I find it very immersive and really great fun, wouldn't be without it now and well worth the money!Next temptation is to move to a PC with VR but that will cost 😁.Don't hesitate on any so so reviews, if there are any, this is a great purchase. Two year John Lewis guarantee as well so gives you a peace of mind.

Great wheel, works well with windows pc, xbox one and xbox series XS consoles. Seemless setup with Forza games, and the optional gear shift (sold separately) is an awesome little upgrade for those who want to drive stick. The pedals, wheel, and shiftera are all solid and stable, the adjustable pedal plates are a great feature to fine-tune the pedal positions for yourself. Recommended for anyone looking for a really good wheel but doesn't want to spend a fortune. I have been using it for several years to play Forza games. Paired with a solid desk or solid wheel stand setup, and it's an absolute game changer. Firmware is also easy to update, just plug it into a PC and use the Logitech G Hub software.

Whilst this system is specifically designed for use with the Xbox family of consoles, I had struggles getting both the console and some games to recognise it. Unboxing and setup of the controller was relatively easy though the arrangement to clamp the wheel to a table/desk was very awkward in my particular environment and the furniture I have. I later decided to purchase a frame/stand to suit this controller and that has resolved the issue. As mentioned, the biggest struggle I had was getting the controller to be recognised. The USB cable for the controller was a bit too short for easy use with the console and TV (I wish I was wireless and simply required the power cable) so I needed an extension cable which on reflection may have contributed to the problem. On the Xbox One I have; the controller wasn't showing in the accessories list until I disconnected and reconnected one of my standard wireless controllers (don't ask me why that should influence it) and magically it appeared and became available.Once I finally got it working, the controller is great. The brake pedal seems to require a very high pressure to get to the 100% mark (when doing the calibration), and this might cause slippage on a non-carpeted floor, but the built-in pedal unit grips work great with carpet to stop that (in contrast, the pedal unit is now installed in the frame/bracket - which doesn't have adequate grips - and now both the pedal unit and steering wheel retreat from the driver when attempting to apply brakes (the frame/bracket doesn't have the attached seat).

Xbox owners should be aware that this only works for certain games and IS NOT universal in application. Check to see what games are compatible before purchase. Force feedback is nice for immersion though you may need a frame as a separate purchase as I did to make it practical for use as a desktop is very limited and immobile for adjustments. Another concern may be the "learning curve" for operating and fine tuning the wheel 'in game' for each individual game in each games settings. PC users can adjust the wheel itself while XBox players will have to tweak each game within each games settings to their preferences. I would not purchase this for anyone too young to deal with the assembly and setup themselves as there are many ins and outs to the game settings as well ... PC users can adjust the wheel itself while XBox players will have to tweak each game within each games settings to their preferences. I would not purchase this for anyone too young to deal with the assembly and setup themselves as there are many ins and outs to the game settings as well as a learning curve to adjusting it for each game which requires some problem solving and patience. In many cases this makes the games harder to acclimate to which can provide a new, immersive challenge, but also create new difficulties, especially in adjusting to the wheel itself and all it's nuances. Overall, I am disappointed in the lack of games that you can actually play "as they were intended" as i found some games that technically "worked" with the wheel and pedals but NOT the buttons for things like items and speed boost. However, for the games that DO work on the listings for compatability, I am looking forward to breathing some new life and new challenge into some more classic games like Hydro Thunder Hurricane as well as some Dirt Titles and sims. I paid about 230 bucks for this setup as a gift to myself to get through the winter doldrums. That's alot for a controller, but for the experience and a well planned purchase I can recommend this as a solid contender in this particular market in comparative value to other wheels I considered. As a side not, you may need to mod the pedals by removing a rubber piece that is embedded within the unit for the brakes as it is far too stiff for the likes of most players and reviews. It's a simple task with alot of screws involved but nothing technical. It basically amounts to removing the bottom cover and unhinging the pedal to remove a square rubber stopper. So look up a video and be prepared to spend a half hour removing this piece as it is a universal fix at this point that just takes a bit of time but well worth doing.
I got from my parents for christmas. It was an amazing gift and really lived up to the hype! The steering feels perfect and the pedals are also great. Its very responsive and is a nice size. My parents got me the steering wheel with pedal and with the additional shifter separately. Its very easy to connect. I play games such as Forza Horizon 5, CarX Drift Racing, Asetto Corsa etc. Every game works very wel with it. The shift tabs on the side of the steering wheel are also very well designed and i thought that it was going to get jn the way of the steering but I have never had that problem happen so thats a relieve. I encourage you all to get this. I use it everyday and very happy I got it.
Overall, good impressions of the Logitech G920 Racing Wheel. I have previous experience with Logitech steering wheels in having previously used their GT racing wheel for PS3. My couch is a reasonable distance away from the the TV and Xbox, but the USB cable is too short requiring a suboptimal placement of the steering wheel/stand in order to connect. I had to go back to Best Buy to buy a USB extension cable. It was $10 so not a huge deal, but it would have been much so much nicer to have a longer cable (and/or extension) out-of-the-box.I've been mainly playing Forza Horizon 5, and controls feel solid. Force feedback is also fine. The synthetic leather-wrapped steering wheel and aluminum petals give the product a premium feel.Overall, happy with this product, and looking forward to using the G920 with the upcoming Forza Motorsport title that is coming out in Oct 2023.
A good starter wheel for anyone wanting to get into racing games using a wheel and pedal combo. A while back, I bought my son a cheap wheel and pedal combo for his PS3. Well, I wasn't disappointed this time as I actually read up on what I can expect and now to tune it properly for Forza Motorsport on my XBox Series X. It took a me a few hours of playing/tuning to get the feel of the wheel. Even though my tuning was a bit off the mark, I was able to have the wheel to my liking and started to really enjoy playing Forza with a wheel. The wheel: Very solid feel imo. Then again this is my first time ever with an actual FFB wheel. The cheap wheel I bought my son eons ago didn't have force feedback like the G920. The wheel, albeit somewhat small to my liking, is extremely intuitive and I didn't really mind it while playing. Even out of the box, there was no need to "dial it in" using G-Hub, in terms of wheel turn radius. I can do that in the game. Paddle shifters are placed just right and their fast response to inputs are very good. The D-pad and XYBA buttons could've been places slightly closer to the inside circumference of the wheel, however. At first I had to look down to see where they were and realized I had to do a slight thumb stretch to get to them. Which was irritating at first, but once muscle memory takes over it is well and good. The "Select" and "Start" buttons were the same way, I had to look and get used to where they were, before I can touch them without the need to look. Hopefully someday the LSB and RSB buttons will be incorportated with the games on XBox. As of now they are useless and non-functional in Forza. I would like to use them for looking left and right. The pedals: Very responsive and even better when you turn up the sensitivity in the G-Hub. Gas and clutch pedal have the same resistance throughout their full motion. The brake pedal is much stiffer than the others, but I think it feels fine and adds that bit of realism to when you press the brakes on a real car. Although I think it is definitely stiffer than what a real brake pedal in a vehicle feels like. At first I was irritated at how I keep stepping on the clutch pedal when applying the brake. Then I realized that the faceplates can be detached and moved one position left right. For me, I moved the gas and brake pedal to the right, and the clutch pedal to the left...problem solved.I really do not have any complaints on the G920. Maybe just the slight noise it makes when the FFB comes in at a high rate.I would definitely buy this again.
I owned a Logitech MOMO racing wheel in the 2000s, and that was a premium product. But times have change since then and this really is the defined starting point for many sim racers now.VALUE:On sale for about $250, this was really a no-brainer. It's the right cost to see if you really even want to (or are skilled enough) to justify buying more expensive equipment. I will say after trying to dial down my desk setup for this with various items, I give up and I'm ready to purchase a Playseat Challenge X Logitech Edition to really dial in this setup. So yeah, at that point you are at about $600+ including the shifter (not really necessary for GT racing), but that is still the low end of this hobby. And you will be enjoying fully it at the casual level.QUALITY:The ... MoreI owned a Logitech MOMO racing wheel in the 2000s, and that was a premium product. So yeah, at that point you are at about $600+ including the shifter (not really necessary for GT racing), but that is still the low end of this hobby. And you will be enjoying fully it at the casual level.QUALITY:The pedals and steering wheel feel really great for what many consider intro-level products. But unless you have actual track time, you probably don't need anything more if you are starting out at sim racing. Like above, the quality will increase when you combine this with a cockpit. Everything will be aligned mostly correctly and not shifting around, which will make your inputs better and racing more successful. I honestly can't wait to see how much more I will get out of this with the PlaySeat Challenge X. The Playseat Trophy might be better choice, but only if you have an entire space permanently dedicated to sim racing.EASE OF USE:Well, here I give a bit of a hit because like any other input devices, like joysticks for flight or microphones and cameras for recording, you are going to have to put some technical effort in to getting it just right for your setup and for your particular games. Sometimes things do not just work plug and play and setting everything up requires some testing and patience. On top of that, setting this up at a regular PC desk without a cockpit (no resistance on your chair wheels or a solid desk to mount) to will result in a lot of shifting of the inputs. Even on my massive butcher block desk, the wheel will sometimes pull out sliding on the laminate. When you are braking and oversteering there is a natural tendency to pull the wheel towards you, and having it mounted in place will defeat that. The shifter can move around too, especially after desperate quick-shifts (imho a hallmark of classic road car racing). Simply put, I don't see why the wheel, shifter, and challenge x aren't just offered in a sweet in-store only bundle for like $570, because they all function with each other and improve the experience together. You can see the PlaySeat brake and clutch combination pedal I purchased, which should also be included in this bundle. Then they could charge the whole $600. It's a beautiful pedal, and matches and fits perfectly on the G920 pedal base. If you are going to get in to GT racing, then this is really a must-have, so you can left-foot brake effectively.CONCLUSION:Despite the drawbacks, if you are just getting in to sim racing, and still figuring out how much you like it or what games to play of dialing in your desk/cockpit arrangement, this is still the best value option to go with while you evaluate those things. Spending more would be foolhardy if you then 4 months later decide you just can't be bothered with racing. Or have the space. The shifter is really kind of optional, most iRacing vehicles use a sequential shiftbox that the paddles on the wheel will handle. If you like racing rally, drift, classic cars, or factory stock cars, then the shifter is a great addition. For rally and drift, you are probably also going to want to get a dedicated handbrake input. Some people use the shifter as a handbrake, I have not tried that so I can't advise. But you have everything you need to experiment and decide if you want to spend more on a bigger better setup. Hand-down the old rig to your nephew and hit the tracks.
This was a pretty good wheel if you were starting out with sim-racing 2 years ago, but with all the other options out there today, this really isn't worth it. The force-feedback is meh and the pedals are good enough, but this really should be about $100 cheaper considering the infinitely better options for the same money. My wheel was a little loose when I got it, but I didn't think much of it. Almost a month in now and it feels like it's falling apart. After countless hours of tweaking in the new Forza, it still doesn't feel right. Assetto Corsa is better, but going over curbs and road feel in general are lacking. If you're just starting out, I'd recommend buying this one used for around $200, but if you really want a new wheel that feels like a solid product, don't buy this.TL;DR: there are much better alternatives for this price range. Don't buy this

Setup is easy, and it’s compatible with both PC and Xbox. For its price, the G920 delivers features and performance typically found in higher-end models, making it a fantastic choice for any racing enthusiast.
