Purchased this model as it was the only one listed as compatible with Windows Hello. Tested setting up facial recognition on multiple machines and was always got stuck at "Make sure your face is centered in the frame."

I bought this camera to attach to the top of my Apple Pro Display XDR. It worked very well for the first few months. Now, however, the software doesn't recognize it unless I unplug it and plug it back in every single time. Also, the swivel on it has become so loose that the simple weight of the cord swings it off center all the time. I'd like a replacement.

I bought this camera to attach to the top of my Apple Pro Display XDR. It worked very well for the first few months. Now, however, the software doesn't recognize it unless I unplug it and plug it back in every single time. Also, the swivel on it has become so loose that the simple weight of the cord swings it off center all the time. I'd like a replacement.

The camera itself is very easy to use. Its bright, sharp, and works as intended. The color profile of the cam can be a bit weird but can be set to neutral. Not a fan of the UI of the software, but it does everything you would need it too. I really like that I can adjust the crop factor.
So I have this cam for like 6 months and during this period it was nightmare to use it. I have daily meetings, and literally every meeting after like 5 min in it starts to loop last 3-4 seconds of my conversation. It only would work when I plug it off and plug in. There are bunch of people with issue like mine on mac os(especially when its advertised for mac os) but no real solution. At some point I had to buy standalone condenser mic and use it. Shame there's no built-in camera on pro xdr displays. But would not recommend this for macos until this gets resolved.
The colors are strange — too fake and vibrant instead on real.
The webcam promises several options including 4k resolution or 1080p at 60 fps. However, the Logitech software does not provide any indication of what resolution or frame-rate it actually achieves, and the video quality and microphone quality are not noticeably better than that of far cheaper options. Even though my computer should be able to support 4k resolution, it does not appear that the webcam's resolution is anywhere close to 4k. For example, the built-in webcam on my 2019 macbook pro looks and sounds superior to this webcam and appears to have higher resolution.
