I recently bought a Renault Scenic that the previous owner never lifted the bonnet to check the poor car's fluids. No surprise then that the oil level had dropped dramatically and the hydraulic tappets were very noisy as a result of that. I have bought these 'voodoo products' in the past that promised much and delivered little, so I was just a bit sceptical when I bought this one, but the alternatives didn't bear thinking about so it was at least worth a punt. Nothing ventured, nothing gained as they say. Oil cap off, poured the contents into the engine and within a mile or so the tappet noise certainly was greatly reduced. All in all very pleased with the outcome.

Have always used this when get the sound of Hydraulic noise. Has always worked. Have had this bottle put in engine. And had a good run out. Sounds all gone now. And running better as well. Sometimes get a bit of discolouration like a golden brown that gets coated on engine. Just needs something like this to get it off so oil can move more evenly. Never had a problem with this product. Dont use in wet belt engine. Not good for the belt.

Repeat purchase , this stuff work well from the off and cam chain and tappets get quieter as the miles increase , Really good product 157k merc OM651 has never been do quiet and smooth , almost feels like engine mounts have been done its that noticeable
I'm not one to write reviews, by for this product I have to!! Delivery was within the time frame and was very happy. My freelander has had loud hydrology tappets for a few months I tried the wynns hydraulic tappets but that was a load of crap! Didn't work and was a waste of money. I put this stuff in my land rover about a week-2 weeks ago.... it had to take a few days to circle around with the oil which I gave benefit of the doubt. It has worked magic my car is now purring no more ticking no more crap. Amazing I'm so happy with this... thank you so much for being better than that wynns crap! I recommend this product 100000% it may take a few days to circuit the vehicle but it works. And it's cheaper!!
Had noisy lifters on a Golf mk4 diesel mostly due to short journeys and the motor never warming up properly. I suspect some of it is due to poor oil quality and I noticed that after adding this the oil became much blacker suddenly so it has obviously done some extra cleaning. The lifter noise has now disappeared so for me its done a good job and been ok for a few months. Next time at oil change I will use a better quality diesel oil and if I have the problem again will use this also.
it solved emissions issues in my car, My car had a P420 warning for long time, I tried multiple options including cleaning catalyst converter but no use, then I noticed the error disappeared when oil change for short time. then I checked this additive to clean valve, it works wonderfully and my error cod e disappeared permanently. bad valve function leads to P0420 issue.
Put in at oil change in in 2001 jeep 4cly motor. After 200 miles tappet noise greatly reduced. For something you put in during oil change happy with results. Would reccomend.
excellent. definitely NOT 'snake oil'. ever managed to quieten down my peugeot 107 engine. quite a feat!
