I have a small living room and the distance between the TV and my couch is less than 3 meters, so, when the TV arrived I though I’ve made a big mistake. I didn’t. Regardless the “experts’” opinion of what the distance the TV should be from you while watching, 3-4 meters away for a 75” TV is the perfect distance to have a cinematic experience. LG 75QNED85 is a great TV for your living or TV room. Probably a bit overpriced right now (August 2022) but in a balanced quality/price value. Highly recommended even with a few setbacks, mostly with the quality of live TV performance and the setting menu. LG should provide a static comparison image or video loop so you can be able to see the results easily during the setup. Has exceptional AI sound capabilities. LG should provide a static comparison image or video loop so you can be able to see the results easily during the setup. Has exceptional AI sound capabilities. Great performance in 4K videos and amazing upscaling at 1080p playback from an usb stick. As a WebOS TV, access to apps is limited and the limited countries’ choices during setup makes it even difficult to find apps you would like to use. Also, you can’t install external or “unknown sources” apps. An external android box or stick can easily solve these problems though. Pros: -Great quality 4K and UHD playback. USB transfer rate is exceptional. -Very good AI sound capabilities. If you are using a surround speakers setup it will blow your mind. -Magic remote is one of the best and is made with high quality materials and easy to use. -Enough HDMI inputs for your external devices. -Extensive setup/adjustment setting. -Very low power consumption for the size of the screen. Cons: -Limited access to apps -Live TV quality image management not so good 3/5 and TV settings are not helping. -Just one USB input -LG should provide users with a detailed user guide regarding the settings so you can achieve the best image quality during setup. I am very satisfied with it and highly recommended. LG was always on top of TV technology and this model proves it. Also, I am very happy that I bought it through the promotional program in an unbeatable price. Thanks LG australia.

If you haven't had a chance to witness mini-LED in person yet, pop into your local big box store and check it out. If you are like me and you prefer the brightness of LED but you want the rich color and deep blacks of OLED, mini-LED is your solution. The LG QNED85UQA handles all of that masterfully. I have a house full of TV's and this one is by far one of the best yet. My living room is a very bright room, so I've always had to have a bright TV in the room to compensate. In the past, that meant washed out colors and image blooming on dark backgrounds. LG has solved that problem by using mini-LED to create way more dimming zones than a traditional LED backlight. This technology pays dividends in color gamut and black levels. The menu is snappy and extremely accessible. This TV is an overall masterpiece for people who want bright, vibrant colors without sacrificing deep blacks. I received this TV at a discount in exchange for an honest review.

I've had many different brands and models of TVs over the years, including an earlier LG. But this QNED has the most amazing picture. Contrast, color all excellent out of the box, but I could heighten it even more with only a few tweeks. Sound's not bad either and no soundbar essential. For a few days I had a Samsung -- also a good brand -- but it had edge-lit LED lighting and the blacks and greys were awful. Best Buy was great, took it back and I upgraded to this beauty of an LG. It took a few days to become accustomed to the Magic Remote, but it's worth the investment in a bit of time to adjust settings and program in a few favorite inputs (streaming services, Roku box, Blu-Ray player, etc.)

This 65”4K television is just the right size for my front room. The picture quality is outstanding. The colors are vibrant. I can view a black & white movie made in the 50’s and due to the television’s AI the movie is focused perfectly. The movie makes me believe that I’m watching a new release. My LG 4K tv really shines when I watch a 4K movie streamed to the tv by one of my streaming services like Netflix or Prime Video. When the tv receives a 4K signal the tv’s picture quality is the finest that I’ve seen even tv’s on display at the electronics stores. I will enjoy this LG 4K tv for years
The picture quality on this tv is great! I love the vibrant colors and great light to dark ratio. While I am very well please with the picture I will say the audio is weak. If I were to use this tv without my secondary sound system I would have had to return it. As long as you already have or plan to get a sound bar or system this tv will be a great fit! A feature I found to be awesome is the cable management at the back of the tv that leads down the legs. So happy to see that cleanliness and minimalist is working its way into the tv lineup. In conclusion, yes I would recommend this tv and already have.
I bought it days ago to go with the other QNED 90 series I bought just before this one a few months back. I bought them as I put my other three Nano 90 in other rooms ( tech and gaming is my only hobby overall ). I can say there is a difference and LG is a great provider. I have usually been happy even back to my 120hz 1080p ( now 4K and 8K ). I will update this once it passes the minimum few months I need to make sure it holds up as I do with any equipment. I always here about other brands and I’m sure they are great too, LG just has something different and it makes the difference; it’s an experience one needs to see and hear. I also always purchase the LG Dolby Atmos soundbar/subwoofer packages with them, every time.
My home space would only accomedate a 55" TV and this was a great choice. I love the clear picture, sharper images, and so much more. The TV itself is great. My only frustration is that one has to go online to get information about many of the features and how to use them. Also the same applies to instruction on how to hook up other things like DVD Blue Ray Player, Playstation, and my wII gaming device. I haven't easily found a number to call LG to ask them to walk me through how to do this. It seems like there are some settings I need to change and I am unable to figure out how to do that.
Had great service from LG lcd telly previously. The colours and blacks are just amazing, and that's not just stepping up from antique lcd panel. At the store the blacker blacks were telling compared to other brands in the same price category. Then there's the sound. No more tinny noise from a couple of tiny speakers. Where does that deep bass come from? We haven't used the soundbar in ages. Lots of apps and the "magic wand"remote is fun to use. One thing though, we had trouble casting from android phone or ipad to the tv. We often browse up shows on these devices and cast to a chromecast... on this telly the major streaming services use the native TV app. We just plugged in our chromecast and problem solved. Maybe we're doing something wrong but we had a good crack ... MoreHad great service from LG lcd telly previously. I have another brand telly under the pergola and when you cast to that chromecast the telly recognises this and the native TV app takes over. Not a huge deal, we've probably set it up wrong. Overall, couldn't be happier, awesome picture, fantastic sound, easy to set up and use. Bravo LG, bravo!
First of all it’s a solidly built tv and I love the fact that the legs can be mounted on the outside as well as the inside part of the tv because my stand is definitely not as wide as the tv. I like the flexibility and having different mounting options. As far as the interface goes it’s pretty snappy and I haven’t experienced any lag or stutter. The app selection is great and about 95% of the apps I needed were available in the App Store. Picture quality was pretty good with anything I threw at it whether it was live tv, streaming or disc. I love the fact that it supports both Dolby Vision and Atmos, and I was surprised at how well the tv speakers were when compared to most tvs. The mini leds easily outperformed my older FALD set at half the price! I’m excited to see what future QNED sets will have to offer. Peak brightness was excellent and can be blinding given the right situation. While not always a problem, blooming could be very noticeable at times but if you have never owned an OLED this might not be too big of a problem since most LED tvs have this problem and he user might not even notice it. I turned on VRR for my PS5 and now that I have used it I never want to go back, it is absolutely amazing and gameplay is so much smoother when enabled. The tv is well worth the price and is easy to recommend considering how much better they are than previous non OLED LG televisions.
I think this TV is perfectly summed up in the comments of my Mom the first time she saw it. "Is this a 3d tv? I looks like I could reach out and touch the fish!" The picture can be best described as immersive. This TV truly will transport you to whatever you are watching. You feel like you are scuba diving in the reefs or in a helicopter flying over the country side. The 4k, 120Hz display really is a game changer. Once you see this in real life, you will understand why it is worth paying a bit more for a TV like this. I have tried out a bunch of different content as this and just continue to be amazing. You wouldn't think a new TV would make a difference in watching the news or a cooking show, but it just does. The precision dimming is incredible in the blacks and does not lead to LED bleed like has been an issue in the past with so many displays. Watching shows I've already seen on this TV is like seeing it for the first time. The remote is fantastic and exactly what you would expect from LG. I find it simple to use and intuitive. Overall, this display finally made me understand just how out of date my older TV was. After this, we will be an LG TV family for life.
