This fridge is fantastic. Looks very stylish. Easy to set up and clean. Is very efficient to run, our electricity bill has dropped noticeably. The ice maker is fantastic, if ready in about 30 minutes after filling. The freezer section holds a lot more than our previous Fisher and Paykel. A +++

I really like this new fridge we purchased. In fact we purchased two at the one time as we originally wanted a quad door fridge but they didn't give enough freezer space for us plus most of those were too deep for our space. So we compromised and ended up with 2 of these fridges so gained more fridge space than we'd looked for. We purchased one with the water dispenser and one without. I feel that this extra fridge space will be very useful when entertaining guests and at Christmas when we often host quite a crowd. The fridge part is so easy to see what is in the fridge as it is at room height and the glass shelves make it so easy to see through. The fruit and Veg drawer is great and having two means one is for Veggies and one is for Fruit. This means I can buy a ... MoreI really like this new fridge we purchased. The fridge part is so easy to see what is in the fridge as it is at room height and the glass shelves make it so easy to see through. The fruit and Veg drawer is great and having two means one is for Veggies and one is for Fruit. This means I can buy a good quantity of fruit and veggies and they stay really very fresh on these settings. Not sure if it would be as good if you had to use the one drawer for both fruit and veggies together. This fridge drawer can be tricky to take out to clean as the door doesn't seem to open quite far enough to get it out easily. The freezer space is fine too although it's taking me time to get used to the drawer "handles" being at the bottom of the drawer, not the top. I don't especially like the ice maker. To me it is too fiddly to fill; easy to make a mess when filling. I removed one of the ice makers and use the space for an old, easy to use ice tray and keeper Ive had for a long time. The small drawer alongside the ice maker is a bit awkward to remove and replace in the space as they door doesn't open as wide as it should to make it easy. You do need to clean the drawers from time to time and it's not always convenient to leave it in the freezer while you clean it. The fridges are exceedingly quiet. Very impressed with that. We decided we would have one of the fridges open right hinged and the other left hinged. Although there is provision for this, to ensure your warranty is ok, you need to get an LG service agent to do this and it was quite an expensive "option". It cost about $170 for the callout and the half hour it took. But I think this was the right decision as you expect a fridge like this to give at least one decade of great use and hopefully many more years. Although the sticker on the front says in big print 10 years warranty that is a little misleading as there is small print. So read that warranty information carefully.

I'm generally happy with my fridge. Having bad hips and knees it is impossible for me to bend down for a fridge so we had to buy the top mounted-which is been an absolute lifesaver and so much easier to use than my old fridge, the cooling power of this is amazing if I put something frozen inside the fridge to defrost it is still frozen a day later. The only thing that does bother me a little is every now and then there is a slight scratching sound from the fridge door which sounds a lot like a small mouse inside scratching to get out I have now come to realise it is the cooling power of the doors of both the fridge and freezer. The only thing that does bother me a little is every now and then there is a slight scratching sound from the fridge door which sounds a lot like a small mouse inside scratching to get out I have now come to realise it is the cooling power of the doors of both the fridge and freezer. The water dispenser is perfect especially for those living homes where plumbed in fridge is not a possibility, the capacity is very reasonable and it is easy to manoeuvre in and out of the fridge door to refill or clean. The ice tray in the freezer is fantastic and spins very smoothly the freezer drawers very roomy and the small drawer at the top is perfect for things like ice blocks or small ice packs for lunchboxes. I was initially concerned of visible fingerprints outside the exterior but so far nothing has been overly noticeable like it is on a stainless steel fridge.
I’m really happy with my new fridge. The colour looks great, it’s got a fair bit of space, it runs well and is quiet. The water dispenser works well and has been nice to have during summer, and the ice tray has been pretty hand too. The crisper is a good size and my vegetables have stayed fresher for longer than my previous fridge. Overall I consider it a good investment.
I purchased this fridge last October. It works great and is silent, drawers and shelves are top quality. We use the water more frequently now as my toddler also likes the be able to use it herself. The only main problem I have is the water bottle each time I refill it I see mould over the compartment where it is held and along the canister and the rims no matter much I dry it after each use.
I'm very happy with this fridge/freezer. It's got so much room inside. The folding shelf in the fridge is genius and is great when you have parties to stand up drinks. I rent my place and don't have a plumbing connection near the fridge space so the non-plumbed water cooler is a great feature to have. I haven't had any problems with it leaking or spilling. The freezer has a great layout and there's so much room in the drawers. The ice feature is also super handy. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase. Even happier that I got it on a sale time.
Great looking fridge, is ultra quiet compared to our older one to be expected. We love the water dispensor its no fuss and no problems. That means less to ever break and fail. After a month of use it is noticeable tgat our vegetables are lasting a lot longer. Overall we are happy with the price, quality and the stylish look it adds to our kitchen.
I’m liking it but miss the light in the freezer section. I’m finding the vegetable crisper is too cold and freezes some of the vegetables when it’s set on the lowest recommended temperature. Water chiller is awkward to fill and the ice tray is hard to pull out . However in saying that, it’s good and spacious and I’m still getting used to it !
I’ve had this now for about a month. Love the look, love the fridge. I’m happy with almost every aspect of this fridge/freezer however to me there is a major design fault. Why on earth would you not put an alarm on the freezer door when it takes a fair bit of force to close.!? There is resistance just before it closes and will bounce back if the right amount of force is not used. I’ve found my freezer door open 3 times already because of this. Massive fault on LGs part. Also the water dispenser on front of fridge is a great idea but I’ve followed the instructions and used the appropriate glass and it still drips almost every time and doesn’t land in catcher. It drips onto the floor! I’d hate to have kids or this would cause such a mess!
