The saw is perfect. What's not perfect is Zoro sending me an email repeatedly until they get a review. What if I don't want to review something? What if I bought a saw to cut pvc, cpvc and poly and that's all I want to do?

The saw is perfect. What's not perfect is Zoro sending me an email repeatedly until they get a review. What if I don't want to review something? What if I bought a saw to cut pvc, cpvc and poly and that's all I want to do?
I had one of these for over 25 years at my wholesale nursery. Used if for cutting sched 40 pvc. I cut a million times with the old one, changed the blade just once. When I shut down the nursery I accidently forgot to keep the old one out of the tool auction. So I bought a new one for myself. Cuts on the pull stroke like a hacksaw.
I use this mostly for cutting PVC pipe ranging from 3/4 to 1.5 inches. Before I used to use a hack saw which made cleaner cuts compared to this but it binded (?) more frequently when cutting larger pipes it also took longer to cut. With this one you leave a rougher edge but you do cut very fast ( I can cut an 1.5 in pipe in approximately 5 strokes). I personally don't mind the rough edges since it doesn't affect neither the quality or the appearance of the joint. Another benefit in comparison with a hack saw is that this is much faster when taking it out of my bag since it doesn't have a hole that catches with other tools in my bag.
If you need to cut PVC, especially PVC too large to be cut by PVC cutters, or with inadequate clearance to be able to use cutters, buy these. Thank me later. This saw cuts about 10x faster than a hacksaw. It leaves a little bit of burrs. I just took the edge of a utility knife, made a quick pass arouns the inside and outside of the pipe, and all burrs gone. The handle is comfortable to grip and the tool is ergonomically designed. This saw made the tough job of replacing an irrigation system 6 zone indexing valve much easier. Highly recommended.

After misplacing the Lenox PVC/ABS saw that I had for well over 15 years, I decided the only way to find it would be to order a replacement. I am very impressed with the new saw, even though I have not had a chance to use it. Comfortable handle and ability to have a flush cut saw configuration without the need for any adapter, plus Lennox quality and a nice wide blade that helps make straight cuts make this a great tool for my occasional PVC/ABS plumbing projects. Recommended.
This is exactly what I was looking for. On bigger diameter pipes (4" and up) a hack saw wonders to much (no straight cuts). This saw makes it easier to make nice straight cuts every time. Well worth the price.
works great and FYI : blade has about 12 teeth per inch.
