I bought this for my son's 14th birthday. He loves to build things with Legos. This is his first Lego Technic set. When it was built, I was impressed on the function and the quality. This is what I thought about the set. Pros: Product is appropriate for age group listed on box This is a toy you can keep on display rather than taking apart and throwing back in the box It has moving parts which makes it fun to play with It's a 2 in 1 set so you can build 2 different loaders Anyone who collects Legos would appreciate or like this set (Child or Adult) Cons: Some of the Technic sets can be pretty pricey. To me, this set is expensive, for what it is. I shopped around and got a great deal on ebay.

Great Lego technic backhoe loader.
An attention capturing toy. The goal of the finished product together with detailed instructions encourages concentration. The challenge for small young fingers was pushing the pieces together.
I bought this set because I like construction type of vehicles. I like the overall design and functions of the loader and that this set is wider than it appears on the cover. It's very stable when you use all the knobs. Very nice addiction to my electric and pneumatic sets.
