I bought my son several of these lego set and have been very impressed with them all. The quality is great and the detail is phenomenal. It is easy to use for a beginner builder and the legos snap together easily. Definitely a must buy!

Lakitu Sky World has been my daughters favorite expansion set so far! Syncing up the set was simple to do with Super Mario App and just like the other sets, we love using the app for the step by step directions. I love how each bag comes numbered which made it easy for my daughter to follow the directions by herself. This set comes with 3 enemy characters (Lakitu, a Bullet Bill and a Fuzzy) which really added to the challenge and imaginative play. The spinning clouds are fun when her Luigi jumps on them and the sliders. This course is really fun and my daughter loves getting all of the coins with each challenge. The interactive play is a neat future, meaning that she can play alone or with other friends. We are hoping to find others to play with soon as I think she ... MoreLakitu Sky World has been my daughters favorite expansion set so far! Lakitu Sky World has been a great addition to our Luigi Starter course and we would highly recommend!

My son loved receiving this gift for Christmas. A great expansion pack for those who have the starter packs. Needs a phone or tablet to put together. 7 years old.
This set has some nice two player action where one (or) both players can exercise some slides back and forth to 'pulse' the center cloud and cause it to rotate. Some timing is required to avoid the bullet bill! A second player can balance on the cloud and receive extra coins from the rotation, but be careful not to spin too fast as there are no studs to hold them on! Lakitu is adorable and a fun build, though I didn't notice an obvious way to knock him off to get at his scan panel. The special functions play the ground world music from sky world (world 5) from SMB3. A nice touch!
You need iOS 13 to use this set to update your Luigi figure from time to time. You also have to have the Luigi starter kit to use this set. It has 480 pieces. It has a spinning cloud. It comes with three figures, but the Luigi is not included. It is in the starter pack. You can win coins for completing challenges. You can build it in various ways. You don’t have to play with other people, you can play by yourself or with friends. It is interactive. Never had set like this. It is very cool and different. It’s like he has a miniature LEGO word that talks with the Luigi figure. He knew right away how to play it. The adult (me) had to figure it out because I am old school. But my son helped me to learn how to play it.
Purchased this set for my grandson as a birthday gift. He was very excited to receive, as he really likes Super Mario, and this is a set he did not have yet. Very good for a 9 year old to put together, and test their skills!
Lego Super Mario - Lakitu Sky World - Expansion set goes with several other Mario Lego sets . When you get all the sets put together . It makes for hours and hours of fun for the kids . The kids did need our help some. The Legos are colorful and there's moving parts also there is an app. to help you threw this. The kids are having fun with the Lego sets but some of it is technical .
I got this for my 8 year old and he was so excited until he realized there are NO INSTRUCTIONS! You have to download and app, set up an account and then you can access the digital instructions. How is an 8 year old supposed to do all that?! He is devastated, frustrated miserable on Christmas morning.
It was very disappointing to learn that this set does not come with paper instructions. My child has to look at a screen for the entire building process. Way to go Lego, helping our kids become more dependent on screens. Parents want their kids on screens less, not more. Know your audience.
I enjoyed building these legos with my son! We had a lot of fun putting them together! He was so excited to play with them afterwards. They gave him endless hours of entertainment. I also love how the instructions are on an app now instead of a physical booklet. Win win for both of us! I will be getting the rest of the collection soon!
