I really like these seasonal Christmas sets and this new model didn’t disappoint. The highlight is undoubtedly the hot air balloon that sits cheerfully on top of the set. The entire footprint isn’t too wide, allowing you to display it on a mantel or windowsill with other decorations. The build was pretty standard and engaging as usual. I love all the slides for sorting the mail!

We have been collecting the winter village sets since they came out, they are our fireplace Christmas display. We absolutely love them but this year you have duplicated an existing one. It would be nice if you would continue to create different building. For example a city center, a library, a restaurant, a cottage, a police station, a hospital, I could go on for a while but you get a picture.

Love Winter Village. Collecting for over 10 years. I can’t wait to see what’s next. My only comment on this one is that the box was partially crushed when it arrived. Which was surprising. I’m glad I wasn’t giving it as a gift. Again, it’s minor but it did kind of make me pause with disappointment. Nothing I think you folks could have done. But wanted to point out just the same.
Was not excited about this set by looking at the pictures. After building it looks cute, will go well with the Elf house. Kids should like it.For me, would have perfered more building vs the slide builds and the hot air ballon. Not a lot of space inside for staging sceens. Side builds were ok, seal was a nice touch. Also purchased the mail delivery truck. One Christmas tree between the two sets would be enough. Would have perfered an alternate side build, maybe expand the fishing sceen.Planning to add at least 6 studs to the overall depth of the building. Kids a little disappointed the Elv's cannot side down thru the beb on the 2nd floor. Will be rebuilding to allow Elv's to fit thru.Overall while perfer the more traditional buildings vs fantasy this set is ... MoreWas not excited about this set by looking at the pictures. Would love a general store with a tranditinal post office inside for a future set. Glad TLG was ablet to offer this set at the $100 US price.
Beautiful set with billowing snowy rooftops that are easy to take on and off for easy play. Love the hot air balloon (tip: put a 1x1 flower on top to keep the light on!). Love the mail sorter, too!Beautiful Christmas display for adults. Interactive fun play for both kids and adults, too.
The Post Office was a pleasure to build & display with many other Holiday sets from many past years. I gave 5 stars even though for whatever reason, I had bit of issue w/ small snowy roof on left side of building as you face front, major roof on post office assembled Nicely, 3 pieces missing in set which I was able to compensate for & finish build. I highly recommendthis set for nice item & value.
Its crazy how with Lego even when you don't like the set you learn something new. What I learned was this idea of open building filled with minifigs doesn't really provide any entertainment. Firstly the minifigs don't look like people since minifigs don't have human proportions. So IDK what the point of a minifig santa was? It doesn't look like Santa. Additionally the building doesn't look like a building, most buildings have walls. This one doesn't. But you know it is what it is. Hate only begets hate, and the world can't bring you down if you don't it.
Not really impressed. Don’t care for the dull, boring sand blue color scheme. Not at all festive. Hot air balloons do fly in winter but am ambivalent about the inclusion. Could use balloon elsewhere and modify the set. Will fit into my winter village somehow.
I had never considered a hot air balloon to be Christmas oriented so a little quirky but it works. I did not get the mail at the end of the ice fishing pole though.I liked the build of the heavier snow roofs on the building. The light inside the hot air balloon was cute.
