When I was given this set for Christmas, I was excited to get it. I had not thought of purchasing it myself because I was more dazzled by sets like the Jungle, the Golem, or the Farm. However, after building it I realized this was exactly what my minecraft collection needed. I have plenty of sets that focus on the surface, so having one that delved a bit deeper was a bit of fresh air.The library section features a great selection of nougat colored bricks and plates that are great for imitating oak wood. While oak wood in the game is a bit lighter and more like the tan bricks, I am fine with this color being used because it differentiates it from sand. I understand that there are many bigger parts here. However, considering how common many basic bricks are in this set, I think the price should have been a bit lower. This makes me have to resort to waiting to receive these sets as gifts or until they are on sale to get them at an appropriate price.Pros are it is a great play set, great selection of parts, and unique setting. Cons are repetitive figure selection (getting old lego), a little high on price for lego, and snow does not make sense here.

This is a gift, so we have not opened it yet, however I expect it to be everything that Legos always are. Happy to find a great buy. My son will be thrilled. Excellent ship to store service.

I got this for Christmas and I knew that I would end up finding a way to connect it with The Ender Dragon. I connected it so that the black part of the portal could slide forward and become the obsidian island that you spawn on in the End. I like the iron bar design, and the cave spider was a nice touch. 5/5 set!

Bought as gift for 8 year old grandson who is very good with computer Minecraft. I was attracted to this set because the pieces seem "basic" and there are more than 500 of them. He can create his own designs rather than just follow directions He does a lot of redesigning with older City and Star Wars Lego sets. My grandsons love building with Legos again and again and again.
I have collected many of the Lego Minecraft sets and enjoyed all of them although i'm not a very big Minecraft fan myself. This set is neatly detailed and has many enjoying features. The set could have maybe a little more "play" features since the main target of Minecraft I believe is younger kids. Good set and I highly recommend this set to others.
My son requested a discontinued Lego set for Christmas, and after many bids, I found this as a buy it now. It was an extra holiday blessing that the money went towards an animal rescued, which is a cause close to my heart (I have four rescue animals myself). Quick quality delivery!
This is an excellent gift for young boys 7-12 years old. They love to build the item on rainy/snowy days in the winter. It is also good for having the kidsthink and reason to decide which lego pieces go where. Several of the Lego Minecraft sets are perfect for the kids to learn this process. The Lego sets are getting a little expensive, but Target is keeping the prices reasonably low. Overall excellent.
It came as exactly as described. Had no box damaged . Complete pieces. Already built it with my son . Very fun Lego !
Bought this as my boys absolutely love Lego Minecraft and this is one of the latest sets. It was built within the hour and flips open and has hidden areas. Kids love it and not stopped playing with it. But as always why is Lego so pricey good job I had a voucher
