LEGO Classic 11005 Creative Fun

The packaging of the box makes it look like it’s a big box full of Lego but once every thing is out of its packet it’s about a quarter of box full which is very disappointing. Not only a waste of packaging but misleading on the product too.Good for open ended play and imagination but I won’t buy a mixed box like this again. Even though it says 900 pieces even the smallest pieces are included in that so it isn’t 900 standard Lego bricks like the picture shows.

This is a fantastic value, with 900 assorted pieces for under $40 US. The color selection is amazing, and a variety of basic specialized pieces (wheels, roof pieces, doors, windows) provide just enough variety to build just about anything you can imagine as long as you don't mind mixing colors. Imagination is key with sets like this - don't count on instructions to show you how to build anything beyond the basic six models. Although this could be a good starter set for someone who already has creative energies, I think it shines as a way to grow your brick collection and expand building possibilities for those who are already familiar with Lego but just need more pieces to enable bigger builds.

This is a very complete and good start-up set for self-imaginary creations. It has everything i expected, and the ideas in the manual are a good startup to give an idea of what to do with different bricks. And when you let a little child play with this, i would assume that you'd do this together with him/her to get started. It only seems logical that a 4 year old alone would not be able to play alone with this. I added some ideas i have made in one evening.
