This Lego Hagrid's Hut: An Unexpected Visit, it a great build for any Lego or Harry Potter (or both!) fan! It’s so cute once built and you get a full set of characters. The build itself is straightforward if your used to building Lego, but I would hesitant to leave a 8 year old to do it in there own. There are lots of small parts which you have to be careful not to loose, so an organised build space is essential. A good few hours spend putting this together ensuring everything was correctly placed. Definitely worth it, Hagrid's Hut: An Unexpected Visit set is great to look at (and play carefully) and makes a great addition to any Lego set!

We loved this LEGO set! We’re huge lovers of Hagrid, so this set is perfect. The characters and tiny Norbert are so cute. My daughters are lego experts, and this took them just under three hours to complete, so I feel that it’s good value for the amount of fun gained from it. Also lasts well as a display afterwards. Would definitely get more from this range and highly recommend it.

From the sturdiness of the build to the attention to detail, this is one of my favorite Hagrid's huts that I have owned. This set takes place in the first movie when norbert the norwegian ridgeback hatched in Hagrid's hut. The look of the hut is nearly identical to the one in the movie and you can see the oven mits that Hagrid used above the fire place. The set itself was quite easy to put together except for the roof. The price of the build is understandable once you know that there is 5 minifigures 2 animal figures and the size and quality of the build. I am surprised on how much they can fit in the hut.the best part about the set is that you can actually fit Hagrid in his chair.

What a fantastic Harry Potter themed set I cannot wait to build this with my nephew he is going to love it. The set includes lots of characters and accessories for creative and imaginative play. As with all Lego the quality is exceptional as is the attention to detail. Age 8 plus as there are some small pieces so would be careful with young children. Any Harry Potter fan would love this

I love this Lego set. It's very detailed, and it has a lot of fun playing features and great minifigure selection. We get golden trio, Hagrid, Draco, as well as Hagrids dog fluffy and dragon Norbert. Hut is very well designed, and I had a lot of fun building it. It's great as a decoration for every Harry Potter fan, but younger wizzards are going to have a lot of fun, playing and recreating favorite scenes from movies and books. It looks great alone or combined with other Lego sets from Harry Potter line. I recommend it to every fan of Harry Potter, and as a gift, if you know anyone who likes this franchise, it doesn't matter the age!

Fantastic Lego set!

This is an amazing set for any Harry Potter fan! The attention the detail is lovely and the fact that it opens out to be played with is fab. My 9 year old daughter put this together alone with no adult help over the course of a week, she enjoyed going back to it and building it bit by bit. I love that this set comes with all the major characters (Harry, Hermione, Ron, Hagrid and Draco) which makes for great playability once the hut is complete and means it’s a great stand alone set too. We also own a few of the previous Harry Potter sets so they have gone together nicely and my daughter enjoys playing with them all. I highly recommend this set to any Harry Potter fan!

Great value for money, perfect bonding activity hours of entertainment!

This Lego set is absolutely stunning. So much fun especially for any Harry Potter fans! My 11 year old son and I built this together over 3 days, partly because of his adhd and lack of attention and partly because there is so much intricate detail in this set. The instructions were easy to follow and there are some spare parts, it also comes with the little tool to separate Lego pieces easily.I think it’s great that at the end you have a completely interactive toy which can be played with for hours. My son is a huge Hagrid fan and was ecstatic to get this set and build it. I also found it a fantastic bonding activity.Would recommend to anyone.

Unexpected visit, unexpected fave

Out of all the Hagrid’s hut set attempts, this is finally one worthy to display near my castle. This version gives me the feeling of the original 2001 build with the fully enclosed octagonal hut that can still be opened up for play. The building techniques are interesting for an adult builder but they also weren’t difficult. There is a great armchair for the Hagrid figure, a fantastic new print for Hagrid, an updated Norbert, and a very welcome inclusion of Fang. The doghouse that looks like the hut is a fun little bonus, I added some of my leftover 1x1 round plates to the doghouse doorway to be able to attach the front paw to a stud. Such a good little cottage!
