LEGO 70677 Land Bounty - Ninjago

I bought this as a Christmas present for my 7yo son. He loves Ninjago lego and I know he will love this.Very happy with the prompt delivery and correspondence.The only negative was the price. Expensive as it is a retired lego product. Having said that though, it was the cheapest online when I searched for it.

A Decent Change of Pace

I like the change of pace from the typical ship Destiny's Bounty. The set itself has good play value, like the detailed interior and a decent amount of deck space, as well as wheels that turn with a very well integrated turning mechanism on the rear of the build. However, the detachable ship is just really weird, as the flaps (which are weirdly not connected and have no studs on top, which means there is so little usable deck space up there) won't close fully with mini figures inside, the sail is mounted so far back so that when the little flying thing is detached, it looks completely out-of-whack. The movable engines are cool, but serve no specific function aside from having something MOVE, and having a wheel on top, a pilots house in the flying build AND the main ... MoreI like the change of pace from the typical ship Destiny's Bounty. Amazing!

This set comes with really rare minifigures, and they're really good ones, so this is a great set to get. There's only one bad thing about it which is that you do not get Zane and Lloyd. I like that there is a detachable jet and that you get 3 of the golden weapons. I liked building it. It is massive! It's my favourite Lego set at the moment, and I've got more than 65 sets! You can steer it by terrifying the booster too.

Big Build is Big Fun

This Lego Ninjago Land Bounty set is large and should not be purchased for very young children or anyone who has trouble with small parts, as there are many many small parts. Included are 8 bags of blocks and accessory pieces, 9 mini-figures (1 special main character, 4 regular main characters, 4 bad guy/villain characters), as well as the instruction book. This Lego set takes several hours to build, and the end product is large and impressive. It can be pushed - or "driven" - around without falling apart unless it runs into a blunt object, such as furniture or a wall, wherein a few blocks will fall off, but it is very easy to rebuild and continue playing

Brilliant!

This is probably one of my all time favourite sets, it has really good mini figures, the build was entertaining and well detailed.However, I have noticed that there are some flaws with it, the sails are one-directional, meaning it has a camera friendly side and a not so friendly side, the weapons on the detachable flyer are very delicate as they're a single stud connection, and the cockpit struggles to fit in the mini figures, as it is slightly too small.Overall, a brilliant set with great play features and a well detailed build. The price is well worth it too. I'd give this a 9/10 as the flaws are minimal and don't cause much irritation.

Great set!

The item arrived within the expected time frame and was very well packaged and i am please to comment there were no dents in the box. This was a purchase for my husband, he is thrilled with the complete set. The Ninjago Land Bounty set lives up to the usual high standard for detail and ingenuity that Lego puts into the larger Ninjago sets. There is a combination of Technic and Creator Expert style features within the build details which made the build and the end product more interesting. This set comes highly recommended.

Great value large lego set. Shame the box was badly damaged.

My son is so pleased with this lego set. He spent a while day making it, completely engrossed, and has since spent most of his time playing with it! It has a lot of different characters included and loads of neat little tricks it can do once made up. Good value given the size. It was delivered promptly. The only reason this doesn't have 5 stars is that the box was badly damaged. It didn't seem to have been damaged in transit so i can only assume it was shipped this way. One end of the box was completely open so that i was concerned it wasn't all there. The plastic bags within were all present and still sealed so it was clearly just the box that had been crushed at some point. Hasn't spoilt my sons enjoyment of the lego though

One of the best Ninjago sets I have bought

I think this is one of the best sets I have ever gotten. I have always been a fan of the original Ninjago, so I was upset that they changed it like they did, but they have actually done an amazing job with them. I got this in the mail and immediately started building. It has a lot more functionality than most sets I've seen, and I was very surprised at how well it holds together. The only slight flaw it has is that in the hold the top won't fit all the way down if one of the ninja is standing up, but that can be easily fixed by bending the figure slightly forward. All together I think it is one of the best sets for it's price, and would highly recommend it.

What a Waste of Money!

I am very disappointed in LEGO right now. I have only ever had a problem with LEGO once before now. For some odd reason, the cape piece used on one of the figures is messed up. It looks like it was made uneven, and can never be straight. It is always folded up. I am absolutlely sure that this is not a design flaw and was a mistake. This piece is exclusive to this very expensive set, so getting a replacement wouldn't be easy. Unfortunately, it has been well over a month that I have been waiting for this piece to get back in stock, yet it still has not arrived. This set overall isn't terrible, but I mainly bought it for the amazing figure selection! Seeing that one of the exclusive figures is messed up by a single piece is very disappointing. While Creative, a Little Flawed

The first thing I want to say about this set is that it is worth the price. While the price per piece may seem off, the structure and large pieces make up for it, along with the exclusive minifigures. The build is very creative and engaging, with some surprises and fun along the way. I especially respect that there is more than enough room to put in not only all the characters from this set, but more minifigs too (for those who bought the other sets). My main complaint is that there are one or two flaws with the interior. The roofs cannot be put on unless the minifigures sit/lie down, despite all the standing space, and even then some of the roof tiles don't go all the way down.
