Truthfully I haven’t had a chance to use this saute pan just yet. But, I have no doubt that it will be fabulous. Just like the other 40 pieces of Le Creuset I already have lol! Pan arrived very well packaged and absolutely perfect! It’s beautiful to look at and something I will enjoy for the rest of my life.. :)

I do have this pan and it is excellent but I'm mainly commenting on the reviewer below who had problems with it discolouring a bluesy gold.This is simply due to overheating the pan which causes the chromium in the steel to oxidise. This is most likely if cooking without liquid or fat, such as when grilling a steak. A cast iron ridged griddle pan is better for this.The blueing is quite harmless and isn't a sign of poor quality steel. But if it bothers you it's easily removed with some vinegar and a nylon pan scrubber.

I've used le creuset pans for years and always been happy and had great results.This pan look fantastic BUT it is untreated so you have to seal it yourself which is not always successful and it develop marks and stains which are hard to remove.If I still had the packaging I'd send it back.My advice is go for the treated non stick pans. Don't buy this one.
We've only dropped a star because we still haven't used the pan yet, but if it cooks as good as it looks & as well as it appears to be made we'll be very happy. It looks amazing with the Signature pots we also bought from Harts of Stur, with everything well packaged & delivered on the specified date as requested. We would most definitely shop with Harts of Stur online in future should the need arise.
Absolutely love this pan! I've been using it regularly for a few weeks now, it still looks great and cooks food well and evenly.I spent a while debating what brand to purchase as I want to slowly build a small set, and was drawn to the Le Creuset Signature style by the design and being dishwasher safe. I can confirm both the pan and lid come out brand new after being in the dishwasher.Expensive purchase but worth it if you enjoy cooking, also Harts of Stur was cheaper than other retailers.
Very good quality, good cooking surface. The lid means I can do different types of cooking in it. It's a good size with just the two of us to cook for, most of the time. Robust and easy to clean. It can go in the oven too. The only thing I would like is a small handle on the far side of the long handle to make it easier for me to lift.
It's seems like a really nice pan but, unfortunately, has warped on the first use. I heated the pan on a 2/3 heat (so medium to medium-high), as one is supposed to do, to the point where water will ball on the surface, then added oil, allowed that to heat for a few seconds and fried some vegetables. However, as I moved the vegetables around, the pan started to turn on an axis, and I realised that the pan had warped. It's not a small warp either, it feels like abut 1mm. On the first use without any mishandling! I didn't heat it fast or add cold liquid, just heated it on 2/3 heat to the correct pre-heat temp for stainless steel.I've done far worse with an All Clad pan and it stood up like a tank and is totally flat. I love Le Creuset 3-Ply Stainless Steel products. You can feel the quality. The saute pan is much better than non-stick frying pans and can be put in the dishwasher and scrubbed without fear of damaging it.I bought it when there was a promotion running. Still expensive but if it lasts like my other Le Creuset 3-Ply Stainless Steel products it will be money well spent; rather than replacing non-stick frying pans every few years.It is true you get what you pay for! And this is worth the money.
Great product, good price and quick delivery! The Le Creuset line and this pan are wonderful. They cook evenly, clean easily and look great. They are sturdy with comfortable handles, even when the pan is full. The lid seals and is light. The perfect saute pan!
