La Roche Posay Lipikar AP+ Cleansing Oil 400ml

I've been using this for several months now and am absolutely blown away by it! I have very dry sensitive skin and have tried so many different body oils and washes, many that are okay but this stuff is just on a whole different level. I find it leaves my skin really velvety soft and without a trace of dryness, even to the point that I've stopped needing to use body lotion, I'm literally smooth and soft enough without it, something I never in a million years thought would ever apply to my skin. Even calves, knees, elbows and all the usual normally dry/scaley bits. I never ever write reviews for anything but I honestly couldn't recommend this more highly and find myself wanting to shout about it to everybody! I’ve been using this product for over 3 months now and it really helps me to achieve that ‘clean’ feel that I desire from washing my face.The main reason that I haven’t given it 5 stars is the smell. I have a very sensitive nose and although the scent doesn’t really stay around after washing the product off, the perfume is just too much.It also doesn’t lather easily. I usually like to only use about 2 drops for my whole face and neck (it’s more than enough, especially as I double cleanse with the Effaclar purifying foaming gel) I barely get a lather though. I only see one if I use more.

This product is great for the whole family. I mainly use it as a gentle body cleanser but it works well as a face cleanser. It's so reasonably priced that I use it everyday myself and gentle enough for my grandchildren when they come to stay.
