La Prairie Skin Caviar Luxe Cream

My boss gifted this La Prairie luxe cream to me as a Christmas present last year and I am absolutely in love with this product! I have normal to dry skin and my skin feels so good when I apply this luxe cream. I use it before bed every night during my skincare routine and I have definitely seen results! My skin appears to be more plump and hydrated after just two weeks of applying this cream nightly. My skin has not broken out when using this product. Definitely will be purchasing this product when I run out! A little goes a long way as well!

Best cream I’ve ever used

Ok. So… it is the winter time, I have dry skin, and it’s also maturing so I need to reapply cream three times a day. I got a sample of this and I haven’t had to apply cream for over 24 hours. This is literally the best cream that I’ve ever used. It is so creamy, smooth, moisturizing and does not leave a greasy film. It even smells good and plumps up my wrinkles. After trying this, I rushed to buy some and I looked at the price and a small jar of this is $595! If you have the money, this is literally the best cream you can buy. I highly recommend it but my wallet disagrees. LOL.

Defect on new Bottle Design

I've been using this product for years and the latest one I got seems to have a new package and bottle design. After a few uses, I'm not able to open the bottle twist. It will twist forever and doesn't open. I pulled the cap open by force and the jar fell over. I lost almost all the cream in it. Now I'm with a broken twist jar with almost no cream in it. I don't like the design at all and want the old design back for my favorited face cream!

This moisturizer is jam-packed with numerous ingredients to hydrate, firm, and make you look and feel amazing. I really rate skincare from Switzerland. I believe that La Prairie has talented scientists who are skilled at creating products that are absolutely top notch. If you’re interested in a basic moisturizer, this isn’t for you. If you’re interested in proven formulas that will actually make a difference in your skin, this is it. I appreciate the rich, velvet texture. It’s a seriously indulgent experience and my skin is plump and smooth and soft and hydrated. My opinion is that this would be best for normal to dry or dehydrated skins. Acne prone may not appreciate the shea butter. A man or woman could use this, and I would think 30s +. Extra step to help with hydration

At first I didn’t think anything was special about this cream it was just another night cream. But, once I used as the directions stated to as a final step even after my regular moisturizer at night, my dry spots were gone the next day and I didn’t have flakey areas for once when applying makeup. I have combination skin and I didn’t think this made my oily areas too oily, but I wouldn’t mind at night anyway since I would wash my face before applying makeup for the day. Only drawback is it is way out of my price range at $595 for 1.7oz. I was so happy to try this but I hope to find a dupe.

A little goes a long way, so you don’t have to slather this on. I am in love!! I will truly be disappointed when I run out of this. It truly works so well!

Not Effective and Too Expensive

I used this cream for a few weeks. I didn't notice that it did anything for my skin. It was not even very moisturizing. This cream is also extremely expensive. Hundreds of dollars in fact for the regular size. This is obviously a luxury item and I am willing to splurge once in a while. But this price tag is prohibitive for the average consumer. The fact that this is not very effective makes it even more frustrating.

Skin looks great

I have noticed a substantial difference in my complexion. I am 53, and my face has the typical lines, wrinkles on face, forehead etc. Some much deeper than others. I've been using this caviar cream for 5 days and within the 3rd day a already started seeing a big difference as far as my face looking tighter especially a forehead my cheek area complexion looked younger a lot more smoother in my face and forehead a lot of the wrinkles have already filled out and have disappeared especially on my forehead like above the nose area I call them squint lines which have literally disappeared. My skin feels very much smoother more even I have not developed any kind of irritation and I really like the scent of this cream. I've used other products that claim to do the same thing that this caviar cream says and I've never had results such as this I truly recommend this especially for older women in their 40s 50s that are beginning to to see the deeper lines and the age marks and stuff on their face and and I'm even using it on my on my neck under my chin. Sorry but anyone who says this cream is average clearly is not thinking straight. I am 46 and people ask me for ID. That say I look 30. I have used la prairie for years, along with la mer, sisley, guerlain orchidee and Augustus bader skincare.Yes it is expensive but you get what you pay for. The scene is strong I agree. But disappears after 15 mins of wearing it. I wouldn't say it's heavy or rich. The standard formula soaks into skin well and if you have particularly oily skin there is the lighter version of this called the sheer creamI have tried a few of their products and some of them aren't that great. The platinum rare collection did very little for me and the gold range. But I consider the caviar range like la mer. Wonderful Skin Cream

I am very thankful to La Prairie & Influenster forgiving me the opportunity to try out this luxurious skin cream. Very light fragrance. The cream goes on, so smooth and leaves your skin feeling very soft to the touch. I did not find that the fragrance was overpowering, and my skin didn’t have any issues with the cream. I would absolutely purchase this item for myself. I highly recommend if you were looking for a new luxurious skin cream to treat yourself in your face and neck.
