Lithium are recommended power to dollar anything else your wasting your money, If you dont have a battery charger and rechargeable genuine lithium only batteries buy these to get you out of trouble, Lithium never leak acid and their cleaner protecting your battery operated appliances So in a nutshell if you go disposable single use Energizer lithium is the way to go.
History shows they are worthwhile product as they are recommended by some camera manufacturers.

...These are the best we've got. I've tried a few cheaper brands of Li, not economical. Pity huh? Our sicko reliance on AAs (just look at the 1000s in every shop), is so sad = landfill for future kids to bother with. So in one way, the longest lasting types are a part solution at least. Unaccountable desire for creation of garbage is not.
lithium batteries are the best batteries for heavy use cameras .will last 5 times longer than any others on the market. Have been using these for over five years and cant fault them .
