L'Oreal True Match Liquid Foundation 11.N Dark Coffee

This foundation was the first foundation I've ever tried and after using an few other drugstore foundations, I can state that this one has been the best drugstore foundation I've used. However, the color match was initially tricky as at first I used C7 as Beyonce was the brand ambassador at the time and it was stated she wore that color 😄 I don't have cool undertones and I don't think Beyonce does either? But, at this time I wasn't aware of undertones so I've come from. The color was also darker on me and was not a true match. I don't know about you, but I love it when I can't feel a foundation on my skin. This foundation is lightweight and yet gives a medium coverage that is actually quite buildable. L'Oréal offer true match foundation in a 40 shades currently, meaning there's a good chance you'll be able to find a good match for your skin. I really love this matte option for oily skin. I do find it gets oily with your skin later in the day but the makeup stays put and it tends to look more healthy skin that grease slick. If you really dont want this, I find it adapts well to whatever you prime and finish your skin with, so if you want a matter look, go for mattifying primers and setting sprays. Beats most of the higher end brands

This is a product that can sit with higher-end brands but even is better than some. One of the best drugstore foundations and provides great wear and coverage. I although have two different shades as I have a neutral skin tone. I love that you only need a little to make it work so my bottle has lasted quite a while. I usually come back to this formula as I've found it works best for my skin. I use a flat head brush and even sometimes my fingers to warm the product up and both looked great. Make sure to shake the bottle before use and clean the tip as leftover makeup can dry on the end and fall into the product that comes out. If you want something super reliable and really affordable this is a great place to start.

Beautiful and perfect shade! Stays on all day!

I started using LOreal True Match 5W about eight months ago and I love it! I am Spanish with Asian descent, so my skin has a little yellow undertone and its hard to get a perfect color, but True Match has soooo many shades that I was able to find the perfect one! I used to mix 2 to 3 different shades of Physicians Formula to find a good color, but now I only have to use one shade of True Match! I wear it to the office every day and it stays on all day. It goes on smoothly and covers my small freckles with a little extra foundation around that area. I am VERY pleased with this product and I highly recommend it.

Buildable coverage with a color for everyone!

I love how more cosmetic companies have expanded their color lines for those with lighter skin as well as those with darker skin. I'm light skinned but at times found I had to buy the lightest color available when I know I'm not *that* pale! As I get older, I find myself leaning towards more medium and buildable coverage. The True Match Super Blendable Foundation delivers all of that! It comes in so many colors, making it easy to find a shade that matches your skin. I was able to apply a bit more in areas that needed some extra coverage while leaving other parts of my face with lighter coverge. It lasted all day and looked natural, no caking or chalkiness.

Great makeup

I’ve been using this same makeup since 2004! I wish the bottle didn’t change to this pump bottle. I miss the glass jar with the screw on lid where you could pour out the makeup and you could use ALL the makeup. The pump only pumps out so much at the end when the bottle is getting empty but you can’t get ALL OFF IT out. The liquid makeup itself is still great though. Light and doesn’t look caked on. You can build it to your liking onto your face. It does cover well even though it isn’t full coverage. Great for any age as I have used this in my 20s, 30s and now at 40! Price is great and quality is comparable to a couple very expensive designer brands for sure! Doesn’t get oily or break out your face easy to wash off at the end of the day. Light and easy. Love it

I've wanted to like this HG for a long time

I've used drug store and high end for years. I've always wanted to like True Match but was never successful in finding one ii liked. I used the Loreal shade finder tool this morning. Twice. And each time it gave me the same results. I threw the shades in my delivery cart for the formulas I wanted. All I can say is wow. The shades were spot on (though I did opt for the neutral undertone option because you can never go wrong with that). This "new" formula looks amazing, blended easily, and is buildable. I got a solid medium coverage with it and my face is actually glowing. I'm 55. Didn't use a primer. Can't wait to see how it performs at work today! I anticipate it will become a five star foundation for me, just the price alone.

If it were long wear it would be perfect

I'm at the darker end of light, can get away with the lighter end of medium shades, and this seems to come in at a light-medium and it truly has neutral undertones, which you can never go wrong with if you're on the fence about cool or warm. I don't think I've found a better shade match in any foundation I've worn since I started wearing makeup over 40 years ago. It actually could be a good medium coverage but because the shade match is so good the result is just a better me. I do use powder, Coty Air spun, which I've used for decades as well, and they play nicely together. What I don't like is that this does transfer to my glasses, and it does tend to slide and rub off as the day goes on, but not in a horrible way. On the days I don't need a foundation to last past a 16 hour work day, true match is my go to. I really like the finished result. But working two jobs means I want my foundation to last as long as possible, and this is where it doesn't perform for me. This is where it loses points. It doesn't claim to be a long wear and I don't expect it to do something it won't do, but I love being surprised when something overachieves. This isn't that foundation. The bottom line is it's a fabulous product that looks great on mature skin and does a great job if you're going somewhere special or you don't need a powerhouse of a foundation. I do use this on the daily when I have a "normal" day, and I've repurchased it several times. There is a reason this has been around a long time, it's that good. I'm glad I finally gave it another shot.

True Match Foundation

Super Blendable is spot on when it comes to this awesome foundation !!! Wow I've tried several " blendable" foundations these last few months but had pretty much given up on finding one that is truly blendable ( at least without alot of time and alot of effort) and I definitely do not have alot of time to put into applying my make up everyday as I am a single mom that works 3 jobs in order to provide my kiddos (grandkids that I have taken on the responsibilities of raising )because I refuse to allow them to suffer anymore pain n heartache than they have already!!! It has quite a fluid consistency for a medium coverage foundation but that this is a HUGE plus as it is easy to spread on the face with a finger sponge or brush. Another huge plus is the wide range of colours, with markings such as warm cold and neutral, so everyone is able to match the foundation not only in shade but also under tone to their natural skin colour. The foundation works very well for me because of its durability on the skin and the way it looks when combined with other cosmetics where it blends beautifully.
