I may have combination oily skin, but no matte foundation as ever looked as good as a dewy serum-based foundation and this one is the best I have ever used. Unlike matte foundations, it doesn't sit on my pores and fine lines. Instead, it has the most beautiful skin-like finish, it lasts all day (10+ hours) and it pairs perfectly with the Elf Halo Glow Liquid Filter (I've been using the shade Fair/Light).My only two downsides are the shade range and the packaging. Coverage is medium, but definitely buildable, so it's a little odd that only a few shades are available. Shade 2-3 Light is still a little two dark for me and though I've been able to make it work with contouring and concealing in the right places, I'd love the option of a lighter shade for a natural, "no ... As for the packaging, the dropper simply does not work and has a tendency to leak product on the sides when opened, which can get quite messy. I've found it easier to just rub the product on the back of my hand.

ok let me get this straight, this is NOT a bad product, but I still have many issues with it that got me to rate it at 2 stars. Let me explain: This is my first time trying a tinted serum, I can tell I absolutely love the consistency of the product. However, I haven't noticed any coverage whatsoever, might as well just have used a regular serum and that would have felt more hydrating than this one. Additionally, I am very particular about following my serum with a moisturiser, with this serum this is not really an option, and the serum doesn't leave your skin feeling hydrated enough for you to wear it on its own. I guess it can be an extra step that you do after applying your skin care and sunscreen but then .. what's the point? I would always prefer to apply my ... I would always prefer to apply my serums before moisturising and applying sunscreen anyway and if I wanted some coverage then I will just reach to a regular foundation and a concealer. One last issue: I was not able to find my true skin tone, I used the 2-3 Light and as you can see my face looks darker than my neck area, and I know for fact that I am far from fair to have ordered the 0.5-2 very light, so it was very disappointing to see this given that the product's name is True Match Tint :( Packaging: Looks great, easy to use applicator, price seems reasonable for a Hyaluronic Acid serum

This is fantastic stuff! I have normal mature skin (not overly dry, not oily, some fine lines) and it gives a very natural coverage. I would describe it as a medium coverage. I honestly can't decide if I like this or Armani Luminous Silk better - I feel like I get the exact same finish from both, so if you don't want to pay for the Armani, give this a go. I have an extremely honest mirror with brutal lighting in the apartment building lift. Things that look great in my vanity mirror will be revealed as cakey, drying, etc in that mirror. This foundation actually looks great! I do not find that it oxidises and it wears well throughout the day. The dropper is dumb, though. A regular pump would be much better but I guess it's supposed to look like a skin serum packaging.

This tinted serum comes in a really easy to use dropper application for the lid and glass bottle. The serum is extremely runny and smooth in texture, definitely full of pigment. I applied the serum over my other daily routine products. The serum spreads and blends very easily, the coverage is surprisingly very good. My skin looks plump smooth and glowing. My skin feels really nourished, not heavy, not oily nit sticky. I followed the serum with a tinted moisturiser and happy to say the result was was fantastic full coverage that was looking fresh plump and glowing. I am so glad to receive this gift to try as I have never herd of such a product that is a hydrating plumbing serum foundation type product. I love the idea and how cleaver and innovative, well done L'Oréal!!
My regular foundation is the L’Oréal Paris True Match original which I love, so I was excited to be lucky enough to test the serum version. The foundation was lovely & easy to blend out, it took its time to set so you had time to blend it out seamlessly. Once set it was a natural semi mat finish, which looked very beautiful on the skin & could be left like that or with a very light dusting of powder if you prefer a completely mat finish. Unfortunately for me the test sample I was give was one shade too dark, but I will be purchasing in the correct shade because it seemed to give an even more flawless finish than the Original True match, plus the original is a lot thicker & heavier in consistency & feel on the skin whereas the serum has a very light, almost ... I would highly recommend it!
My skin is light olive, not porcelain, far from it. Lightest shade would suit me more than one I have picked, light. So please swatch before purchasing. I have used it after first time since it was a bit dark for me with niod photo fluid 12 % to lighten it and dilute for sheer skin like , just blurring effect. I prefer light coverage, skin like. This serum when applied lightly is perfect. And dry setting, leaves satin finish. Super comfortable and non drying. Leaving skin healthy looking, super comfortable. As if wearing nothing, but having this amazing blur effect. On its own is brilliant. I am switching to serum "foundation" from now on seeing how well it works for my skin. Just buying in lightest shade for sure. Does not set into expression lines after smiling, does not move all day. I have huge pores, no dot effect, as pigment is super fine and blurs skin so well, minimising pores too. Before I was using only high end foundations , will switch to this plumping serum.
I read some mixed reviews about this, and I guess the first thing to say is that this isn't a foundation, so if you're looking for fuller coverage, then maybe this isn't for you. However if I do want more coverage, then I'd use Dr Jart Tiger Grass colour corrector (which I highly recommend) to tone down redness on my nose and cheeks, then apply this. I'm not a fan of heavy foundation so I think this could become a staple for me as an everyday product, and coupled with the colour corrector for when I want more coverage. I've used it on top of Erborian Skin Hero and my skin looks really healthy and natural, great for a minimal, no makeup look. It also doesn't feel like I've got makeup on. My skin feels really comfortable, and doesn't settle into fine lines
I typically have used very full coverage foundations for years but I wanted a more natural option to have, and I was NOT disappointed with this! You think it won't cover anything but I can not tell you, how fantastic it is! Let it settle for a few moments once applied and WATCH the magic unfold. It covers quite well considering it's a very light and natural foundation, I don't feel like i'm wearing anything. I have quite red congested skin under my eyes and chin and it covers my congestion under my eyes VERY WELL, the chin has ALWAYS been an issue no matter what I use! Anyways, my skin looks so incredibly healthy! The glow is breath-taking and it just looks like my skin is so clear, healthy and plump! I have only worn it for around 4/5 hours and it has stayed, I am yet to see if it lasts around 8/10 hours. But I am very pleased with this product, it's beautiful. Now.. the DOWNSIDE. Despite the shade range (I picked 0.5-2 very light, I have rather fair skin with pink/cool undertones) but the tinge is still yellow :'( that is my only criticism for this serum/foundation!
I am pale with neutral undertones and I usually use the true match foundation in 0.5 so I bought the lightest shade of the serum foundation. It says 0.5 to 2 but it is much too dark for me. I would almost get away with it in the summer months except it also oxidises and goes darker once you have had it on for a while. I like neutral foundations that lean towards yellow undertones but this looks orange on my skin and unlike the regular true match it does not colour correct my complexion which can get a bit of redness at times. Such a shame because otherwise it is a really good foundation for me. Even medium coverage can look a bit heavy and peculiar on my very Irish complexion and I often find foundations difficult to blend because I have very moody combination skin ... Some people might find this a bit slippery, runny and sheer but I love the texture especially since I tend to set with powder foundation for extra coverage anyway. I wish they did a lighter shade. I don’t know why they called it true match when the shade range is much more limited than their regular foundations. If u get a shade that suits and you like a super blendable, sheer, lightweight foundation this is for you. The only other slight negatives I have to say about it is the dropper is pointless it’s no more useful than a spatula which doesn’t work with such a runny formula. A pump would be better though maybe not for the environment. Also there’s quite a strong smell of alcohol off it. It reminds me of the smell of the foundations I used as a teenager in the 90s.
Wow! I love this product! I applied it at 4.30am and took it off at 8pm most days. It still looked really good apart from a bit of shine in my t zone. However, it didn’t look pasty or tired looking (even though I did, lol). It even stayed on after my in between shift naps and did not transfer onto my sheets. The dropper option makes it easier to apply and you can start off light and then apply more for a medium coverage. I would suggest to make sure you exfoliate and cleanse prior, as I noticed that it stuck onto some dried skin when I first used it. However, that day was my lazy day and I made sure to keep my usual skincare routine up properly after this and did not have any problems. I would definitely recommend this to my friends.
