L'Occitane Immortelle Divine Cream - 50ml

I used this in rotation with the Divine Youth Oil. Neither of these products left me feeling wowed in any way. If anything i found the cream slightly more effective than the oil, but at a price...red itchy spots on my cheeks and jawline area after 2 weeks of use. I'm guessing this was down to the Rosemary extract (the same ingredient that brings a rush of short-lived color to your cheeks - due to its stimulating effect on the skin). The Vitamin C in this did give me a glow which was good, and the texture of this cream was light and totally non-greasy. However something in it reacted negatively with my skin, causing bumps in areas I've never had bumps before. The new version of the main immortelle cream does smell a bit different and no longer has the applicator. I read online that the formula was updated to include more of the flower's extract so i assume that is the smell difference. While i loved the old smell and this one is a bit stronger in my opinion, it isnt unpleasant and i trust the skincare experts for this company. BRAVO on getting rid of the plastic applicator! It is another extra thing L'Occitane is doing to make their products more environmentally friendly, which is a big plus for me.

Did the formulation change

Several years back I used this product and loved it. I decided to try some other moisturizers but this year I bought it again. I put it on my face and the fragrance was overwhelming and my skin felt uncomfortable--almost burning. I don't remember it being so fragrant. Did the formulation change. I still gave it 4 stars because if felt great but I would not recommend it to someone who has a fragrance sensitivity. I love some of their other products and use them all the time like the shampoos and almond body oil.

Immortelle Divine Cream

This gorgeous moisturising cream literally is divine. I first received a small sample in the M & S calendar a few years ago and loved it, so when I was able to, I purchased the full size. I usually put it on at night as I use the L’Occitane Immortelle Precious Dynamic cream as my day cream but you can use the Divine cream for both day and night. I normally take a small amount of the Divine cream and warm it up in my hands first and then sweep it over my face and neck. The smell is heavenly and it feels luxurious and velvety on contact with the skin sinking in easily and hydrating immediately. Since using this wonderful cream I have noticed that my skin looks the best it’s ever looked. I would recommend it to everyone. I began to use this Divine Cream in 2012. It won awards. It was absolutely amazing! I received compliments on my skin consistently. People raved about my skin, constantly asking me what I was doing. I told A LOT of people about this product. It was just miraculous, really. I remember the very first time I used it: my skin just blossomed with radiance. I used it for about 2 (maybe 3 years?) and then they changed the formula, which the company disclosed. I tried the new formula and I didn't like it. I got away from it at that time, as I did not find it worked for me at all anymore. It just was not the same product. Several years went by and I thought I would try it again, just to give it one more chance. My holy grail

This cream is pricey, but it is so worth it! I started getting acne in my 20s from a stressful job and tried a bunch of expensive products and procedures (chemical peels, facials, microdermabrasion). None of them worked as effectively as this one did. Since using this cream, my face has gotten smooth and soft. I rarely gets pimples now, and when I see one coming, I just apply this cream and it pretty much disappears overnight. On the downside, the fragrance does take a while to get used to because L'Occitane products tend to have a strong (but still pleasant) scent.

So divine is this Immortelle Divine Cream

Received a free sample of this product at a fundraiser in mid-September. After two days I knew I needed to add this product to my skincare routine. Went to the Easton Town Center and received great service and some additional recommendations for the serum. Fabulous service.Despite lots of sun and beach time this summer my skin is looking radiant and fine lines are diminished. Great ingredients. I am a fan of this cream and the compliments on radiant skin.
