Very, very good quality binoculars and lenses, very bright and incredibly sharp for a reasonable price! Perfect for birdwatching! I highly recommend them (already ordered 3 pairs for my friends and myself).

Compact and powerful!

Love these 8x32's, they could easily outshine much pricier models. I did the comparison. Thanks RCT for your assistance.

Excellent, and well suited to birding in Colorado
30 April 2023

Birds in Colorado are a bit farther away than in the lush Eastern forests, so the 10x magnification is helpful. The relatively wide field of view (7.2 degrees) makes these as pleasant to use as my 8x42s. The image quality is excellent, build quality is high, and the focus in smooth and precise. I like the wide neck strap than comes standard. Great value for the price, and great service from B&H.

Great Binocular for the Money

I bought these based on specs. I compared them to Binos owned by my nephew and Bother that are a big name. The pair my nepew has are comparably priced but do not focus as sharp and are not quite as bright. My brother has a pair of binoculars that ran $1600 when he bought them and they are more than $2K new now. He observed the Kowa was as sharp though slightly less bright and had a slightly different hue to the overall view. With that said, I have damage to my eyes from M.S. and every advantage I can get is helpful to me in the field. These binoculars are sharper, brighter and clearer than my previous more costly pair and they are lighter to carry. My only knocks are that they lack a good scratch resistant coating and the lens caps are cheaply made.I would ... MoreI bought these based on specs. I could see detail in light down to 30 min after sunset. Only an overcast evening caused one time where the last 5 minutes of legal light left me wanting in the detail department.I hope this helps as I was unable to find many reviews on these optics prior to my purchase and I nearly passed up a great optic at a great price.

Great wide field of view.

I have owned these bino's for a couple of weeks now. They are quite well made. The optics really do seem to be high quality, it's all about the glass. Quick focus and bright images are impressive.

There are much sharper binoculars than these for a similar price, namely GPO Passion ED 10x42

Purchased as a gift for my birdwatching partner. So far on Xmas morning, out in rural Taranaki, it's been. "WOW" "F%&king amazing" "oh, that's extraordinary" "Amazing detail and clarity." So I think I chose well. Thanks to the informed and balanced advice from J.D. that let a novice make a great decision.
