I was expecting definitely better than this.In just a couple of minutes the bowl becomes very hot; so hot the condensation will fog the bowl.Looks like almost a cooking machine.Didn't expect since the wattage and the torque are both very low.A mild resistance will trigger protection; the engine it's just too weak.The materials' quality looks good, mechanically seems well done.But the distance between the discs and the bowl top cover is too high.Too much food doesn't get processed and sticks between the disc and the cover.The complete lack of additional accessories is also another concern.Overall judgement is that is under-performing and over-priced.

I had been looking for one of these for a long time, and then I saw Bed Bath and Beyond had it on sale for way cheaper than anywhere else so I finally was able to get it. I have only used it a few times but it does great work. Has it's place vs. a blender or immersion. I have yet to even try the chopping features, but can't wait.

Love this machine, does exactly what it says it will do, chops everything. Easy to clean as it comes apart easily and I love that is clips onto the base, no needless twisting of the bowl. All the blades store together easily, be careful though I managed to slice my finger when I was getting them out the other day, not a mistake I will make again. Overall this is the best processor I’ve had. Recommend.

Nice middle of the road sized food processor. All of our major and minor kitchen appliances are KitchenAid. This will save me time at the chopping board for sure. Used it to make stuffing in a snap. Color matches out other minor appliances. Very easy to clean and dishwasher safe.

This stays put in use - it has a smaller motor (450 W) but copes with everything I ask of it. Pros: It’s a very nice looking item and seems well made. The lid on a hinge is easy to use (my previous one was often difficult to align). It grates and shreds well. Haven’t yet tried making bread and pastry but I’m sure it will do the job well. It’s easy to wash and store as others have said. Ordering and delivery were fast and efficient.Cons: A lot of the shredded food collects under the lid but this is a minor issue. I got it slightly reduced - at full price it would be expensive. There was no recipe book - important when using a machine you’re not familiar with because it gives advice on which tool to use for which cooking purpose( although the instruction book gave some advice on this - not enough for me though).

I though with this 9cups bigger capacity & stronger machine, I could put more. I tried with 700gr mince meat, it did fit but can’t blend properly, some was stuck on top, only bottom part blended. Moved the blade into middle and only middle part blended, some on top and bottom didn’t blended. Some stuck inside the blade part and hard to clean. Initially I thought it might be too lightweight (as it has a plastic body) and could move about due to vibrations when in use but this has not happened at all. The motor did sound a bit lightweight too rather like a wasp buzzing compared to bigger model but not an issue really just something to get used to.The only issue I have is that the more recent model has a julienne disc and also a whipping disc which I would really like but that came with a coarse grate/slice disc and as I wanted too prepare coleslaw I chose the older model with the finer grate/slice disc. I would like to be able to purchase the julienne and whipping disc if possible? I assume they would fit and don't mind about storing those separately!Overall, thoroughly recommend, very convenient!
