Comment; I have not measured this Memory module impact on battery life (duration of charge), since I didn't measure how it was with the lesser size RAM and different brand module that it replaced, but at least it hasn't shortened battery life, so 5 starts there. This memory went into my wife's entry level, Office and Google Classroom dedicated entry-level laptop, which it doesn't have touch screen, so I'll give it 5 starts to avoid giving wrong negative impression. Here in the St. Petersburg, Florida area the going rate for this memory is $35+ for used. For me this was good deal add in the free shipping and it came 5 days early well worth it. Sorry, no pictures as it came as I had family emergency so installed while traveling, truly appreciated the extra memory while I was dealing with being in multiple waiting rooms.

This memory installed and was recognized by my Lenovo Ideapad. It has increased the speed of the laptop but not as much as I had hoped. It only has one memory slot so I had to replace a perfectly good 4GB memory to install this 8GB which is the largest it will take. None of this is the fault of the Kingston memory, just how it went for me. I would still do it again knowing what I know now because without it the speed was driving me crazy.
All good. It's an 8GB upgrade for my laptop which is now noticably quicker switching applications with multiple things running. Also Trackmania will launch with Chrome open now without complaining :D
I have retina iMac late 2014 and through various articles was leery considering people reports of iMacs being finicky with what ram you put in it and whether or not you should install ram in pairs. My iMac came with 2x4gb modules and I only added one 8gb module (this kingston ram that I just bought). the mac recognizes and works with 16gb total now. no problems so far. will update if I run into issues down the line
Kingston is a well respected brand for RAM (Random Access Memory) and one that I trust. Upgrading RAM is known to be one of the most cost effective ways to get the most out of your computer. My HP laptop shipped with 4GB and performed adequately but I felt it could do better so I upgraded to the maximum 8GB and now it performs better, but still isn't a exactly speed demon. That said, it met my expectations so I'm not disappointed.
Works flawlessly with my HP Elitebook 850 G1. I have another same module (exact same P/N) in other slot, and they work great with this laptop motherboard. This memory perfoms very well and laptop is very stable with it, I can't even tell that there is a difference between original HP memory and Kingston KVR16LS11/8. Even more memory of this quality would be good, but there are only 2 DIMM slots on 850G1. 16GB total - so far good for virtualization tests and projects - it's a laptop after all ;)
Wonderful upgrade to my HP Notebook - 15-ac027ds (that only had 4 gig). I asked a question about this upgrade and got a 50/50 answer. A user has the same lappy I have and he mentioned it was a perfect match (and it is, I agree). while other feedback stated it was not compatible. I will say one thing in defense of the "not compatible" answer, taking apart this particular laptop is not for a newb. I suspect this was the reason for the reply. But, if you kow what you are doing and have this laptop - this memory chip is for you!!!! LOVE IT!
You can buy memory for a little bit less, or spend a lot more, but this piece was priced well and was an exact match for the memory in my Dell E7240. From experience I always like to have memory match when expanding, it can avoid strange problems if it does not. This is a brand I have used before and trust and it was an exact match so for me it was a simple decision to spend just a couple dollars more for a part I had 100% faith in. Also, this was sold by Home Essentials Direct and I knew if there was an issue I would be dealing directly with them and that was one of the deciding factors. Installed in just two or three minutes, booted up perfectly and the computer runs great.... A+ on this one!
