I use this for my Ultrafine 5K which is about 8KG's. The monitor arm is slanted which means that the screen faces downwards instead of parrallel to my face. This is really annoying. The monitor arm also is uneven. It tends to weigh towards the right side and I have to constantly adjust it.I only kept it because there were no alternatives during the middle of COVID 19.build quality is fine, it's just the end product that fails to work properly.I'm sure you can find a better monitor arm elsewhere.

The monitor arm is relatively easy to set up, and facilitates reorienting the monitor (within limits) quite easily. There is a little too much play in the tilt head, which makes it harder than it should be to lock in the back/front pitch, and there is no tightening adjustment at all for horizontal rotation. Nevertheless, careful setup provides an excellent and reliable support.

The out of box experience was very good. The items were well packed and the piece parts were labeled. The instructions took a minute to make out since there are only drawings and no written instructions. Once the target installation was identified then the instructions were straight forward.The product is well made and the arm action is smooth. Attaching the monitor is literally a snap. This will help make my standing desk much more ergonomic!

I picked this up since I wanted to reclaim some of my desk space from my monitor stand. It clamped to my desk easily and wasn't too hard to put together. This thing wants to account for a heavy monitor so be careful when unpacking it as it might spring at you. It holds my large curved monitor easily and even though i'm close to the weight limit seems to be maintaining it's shape.
This stand is super easy to mount to a desk and attache the monitor to. The gas shock makes is really easy to adjust the position of the monitor, and it freed up a lot of desk space for me. The color also blended great with my grey desk and looks sleek. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a clean look and more desk space.
I am currently working from home and need two monitors for work. The Kensington one touch smartfit single monitor arm has been truly invaluable to me allowing me to work efficiently & effectively. The set up was easy the box had a piece by piece description of the contents written on the outside of it. The arm stays exactly where I adjust it to.
This is such an useful luxurious product that every household must own one. I was having constant back aches and neck pain using my existing monitor. As soon as the pandemic started and now that work fromhome is the norm, it was getting increasingly difficult to work from home. But not anymore, as soon as I installed this height adjustable monitor stand, it appeared as if someone has done some sort of magic to relieve me of all pains. I adjusted the stand to align with my eye level and that really helped with myheadaches too. The monitor took up so much space and led me to not using my kitchen table to eat on and I downgraded to the coffee table for meal time. I was looking for something that would allow me to move the monitor out of the way and allow me to reclaim my precious table real estate.The monitor arm is really sturdy and holds up the 18lb monitor no problem. Installation wasn't difficult, but my table only has a 1.5" lip before another piece of wood blocks the clamp from getting a grip. There were some huge design flaws with this arm. The base that sits on your desk is so small it has problems maintaining the grip on the desk. A few movements was all it took to knock it loose from the desk, which would have caused the monitor to fall to the desk or floor. The pivot point at the base requires so much torque that it felt like the question isn’t if it would slip off my desk, but when. I sent it back the next day and purchased the vastly superior Dell monitor arm and I’m very happy I did.
great product. it exceeded my expectations. it was easy to set up and was ready to be used in an hour. it has good weight to it which makes it a perfect fit for monitors. it looks neat on my desk. it has made my monitor appear to be at an ergonomically appropriate height. good product.
