I read so many reviews before blind buying and I love it! This review is going to be long, here we go-Due to reading the reviews I was expecting this to smell very synthetic and like strawberries and to have no lasting power but that’s not exactly my experience. To me yes this opens very strongly strawberry but it changes very quickly to a warm, creamy vanilla almost marshmallow dry down. If you like Heavy Cream by Phlur then you’ll most likely like this. It does smell similar to Scentbird’s strawberry shortcake perfume but there are differences so it’s worth having both. This one definitely has a bit more musk to it and a depth that I wouldn’t say is the same as BBW strawberry mist as other reviewers have said. It’s definitely a more mature version and very quickly ... MoreI read so many reviews before blind buying and I love it! As far as lasting power, the dry down for me lasted hours, I could even smell it the next morning BUT only the creamy part not the strawberry note. Overall, I wouldn’t buy the large bottle it’s not worth that much money due to the dry down being so similar to Heavy Cream but I’m also balling on a budget so keep that in mind.

I really enjoy marshmallow perfumes and the impeccable marketing from the Kayali team got me intrigued. I have five full sized bottles of kayali perfumes that I adore, so I bought a travel size of this perfume on release day just to test.On inital spray, I found that there was a light lemony smell that reminded me of capri in a bottle which I also like, then there is a sweet fresh strawberry smell with hints of coconut cream, about 10 minutes later I get sweet fluffy powdery marshmallow scent and creamy vanilla.First couple of days the scent lasted 30 minutes tops on me and I could not smell it anymore I was really upset by that. However, i left my perfume in a dark, cool space for two weeks. Now I get the same fluffy strawberry vanilla powdery smell but it ... MoreI really enjoy marshmallow perfumes and the impeccable marketing from the Kayali team got me intrigued. My husband says its addicting in a cute flirty way.So overall this is a win for me and I plan to buy a full size bottle, its such a happy delicious scent with no harsh florals or spiciness or patchouli finally!Literally reminded me of a nice warm strawberry milkshake or nesquick but with vanilla syrup, coconut flakes on top and pink powdery marshmallows a dream!

I enjoy the unique aspect of Kayali's Yum Boujee Marshmallow, which offers a delightful aroma with a subtle twist that balances its sweetness. It seems to contain hints of oud or patchouli, which reduces the intensity of its sweetness. Although it possesses a pronounced taste of pure sugar, which is initially quite intense, it mellows out over time, becoming more creamy, lactonic, vanilla-like, and fruitier, with a hint of a spicy Middle Eastern flavor, setting it apart from other fragrances. It's a rich scent with a hint of earthy spices as it fades. This fragrance is sophisticated and not overly sweet, making it appealing to those who enjoy sweet scents without feeling overwhelmed. It also lasts a long time. I generally am not a big fan of Kayali fragrances as they are not unique enough or lean synthetic to my nose. So needless to say I didn’t expect much when I ordered it. But the girly girl in me wanted that pink bottle. I was pleasantly surprised and this scent is actually really nice. It opens with an apple note that smells like a sweet apple, but that note dissipates quickly. After a few minutes the scent becomes more linear and smells like strawberry flavored ice cream, through and through. Nothing else stands up as a note in this composition. It’s creamy, fluffy, girly, youthful. No smell of realistic strawberries, more of the vanillic berry desert, strawberry short cake. Very soft, delicate scent, there is a powdery touch to it that makes me think of strawberry flavored nesquik powder. I think this is very pretty and I don’t have anything in my collection that smells similar. I like that it’s soft and wearable and not too complicated. I also like pairing it with my favorite BDK Bouquet de Hongrie, it makes for a very nice combination if I want more complexity. The longevity is ok, it wears close to skin and doesn’t project much, 4-5 hours on skin, slightly more if you overspray. I’m glad it doesn’t smell synthetic. Just overall nice, well rounded scent. If you like gourmand scents and don’t expect something overly complicated, this is worth trying!
Kayali Yum Boujee Marshmallow 81 smells just like strawberry Nesquik through and through and maybe also like Ensure strawberry milk which has a thicker creamier consistency. This, a whipped strawberry milk cream, is yummy for sure and nostalgic as I used to drink Nesquik during camp trips and Ensure at home. I don't get a plastic strawberry doll scent that other fragrances with a strawberry note can be overtaken by. Instead, Yum 81 maintains the strawberry milk scent but without the kind of milk note that would nauseate, amazingly. There are other notes that add a perfumey touch such as the subtle orange blossom I pick out specifically and maybe the other florals. For performance, my skin warms up easily and often which helps perfumes project better. For that I am grateful, even though longevity could be better since it lasts around 4 hours projecting, with hours 5-7 closing in to an intimate scent. That honestly is fine by me especially if this is bought on sale and is under $100 for this kind of scent. It should also last longer clothes.
I finally got my hands on the most anticipated fragrance! After bagging this in the app exclusive early release, it was delivered today, I was so excited to get it out and see if it was worth the hype.Firstly, before it arrived we saw the change of packaging was a hot topic and I must agree the packaging is very basic and not as special as the original. Obviously it’s the perfume that matters but the box is definitely part of the experience and does make for a pretty display. The actual fragrance!Upon the first spritz I got an instant sweet, floral and fruity hit, (a light but fresh smelling strawberry), then I got a warm, sweet, creamy vanilla and eventually it has dried down to a light fluffy creamy musk with a hint of marshmallow. Almost a faint strawberries and cream scent. The dry down for me is very light I prefer my fragrance to project well and is long lasting, I feel it wouldn’t last very long on the skin on its own. Perhaps with a good layering body lotion there would be some longevity from this scent.Overall, beautiful sweet and creamy smelling. I wish it stayed as strong as it did when the warmth came after the floral died down. Or if it was as intense and long lasting as the yum pistachio gelato. But it definitely is a beautiful fragrance and I would recommend to anyone that enjoys a sweet vanilla scent. I would purchase this again.

I will absolutely buy this again.
This is the one! I love sweet fragrances and was hopeful when I tried Kayali’s Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar fragrance that I would love it. Unfortunately, that one had too strong of a patchouli and sandalwood fragrance to it. Kayali’s Yum Boujee Marshmallow is just right! It is sweet, doesn’t have any strong fragrance undertones I don’t like, and is long lasting. I wouldn’t call it a light fragrance but I also don’t find it heavy - it’s right in the middle so works for daytime and evening. I also don’t find it to be TOO sweet of a fragrance. It is a more mature version of something we would wear when we were younger…a boujier version if you will! okay, so let me just say, this fragrance is honestly like a sweet treat in a bottle. it's from the Yum Collection, and i’m *so* here for it. Yum Boujee Marshmallow smells like everything you could want in a cozy, sugary, indulgent scent.the key notes are *definitely* strawberry, pink marshmallow, and whipped vanilla, which is literally like a fluffy cloud of sweetness with just enough warmth to make it feel luxurious and comforting. it’s like a sweet hug, you know? the strawberry gives it that fresh, fruity vibe, while the pink marshmallow and whipped vanilla add a super creamy, marshmallow-y layer that’s just soooo good.i find that it’s a perfect fall/winter fragrance but honestly, i’ll wear it anytime because it’s not *too* heavy. the longevity is pretty solid ... Moreokay, so let me just say, this fragrance is honestly like a sweet treat in a bottle. it's from the Yum Collection, and i’m *so* here for it.
