I don't have a lot of space in my apartment, but I still wanted a nice, compact digital piano to play on. This delivered just that and more! The speakers and range of dynamics, in addition to the hammer action keys, make both the sound and the playing experience nearly indistinguishable from a real piano, all without the size, weight, or maintenance of a real one. This digital piano is amazing for the size and price. Compact size but sounds so good and is so nice to play. I went from a cheap keyboard to this digital piano and I couldn’t be happier. It’s a lovely piece, with a lovely sound. Very happy with my purchase.

I bought this one to replace a Donner DDP-100 which was absolutely awful (terrible sound, and sharp edges on the keys!). I am very happy with this purchase, the piano sounds great, also with headphones on. Very pleasant feeling when playing, very responsive. The metronome is always a good tool to have. There's a few modes I haven't used yet but could be useful too!Overall very good, strongly recommend!

Really good sound and functions for the price! It feels much closer to a real piano than anything else I've owned before in a lower or similar price range. The touch sensitivity and pedals really help me improve my expression when playing and create more inspiration to play. I also like that you can adjust the brightness of the piano's tone, which gives it a more realistic sound. The sound quality is very good when listening through headphones as well.The piano has a very warm tone, so that can be a plus or minus depending on personal preferences.
Our piano instructor gave some recommendations before I went piano shopping. I came across this electronic piano at Sam Ashe. This product is awesome! It's very smooth and produces great sound. Aesthetically it looks great in our house, too! It is very modern. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an electronic piano.
I'm replacing an older console piano with a digital piano. With a kid, and some anxiety issues switching from a classical analog piano to digital has been interesting. The action is definitely stiffer. Keys take more effort to press; however, my older piano from the 60's is well-worn. The sound is high quality, the product is great.I recieved a damaged back board with my piano, and am awaiting assistance from sam ash, but their weekend support was great and am confident that they will help replace the broken facia piece. Will update when I can.
I am a beginner and wanted a digital piano that is portable and easy to set up and has excellent sound. The Kawai KDP120 didn't disappoint. Very happy with the purchase and am truly enjoying it. Gives me a lot of motivation to be serious to learn how to play. Paired it with my ipad and right there is everything you need to control it. Sam Ash is very helpful and answered all my questions.
This piano has a lovely sound. The peddle action is superb. I have not used voices other than piano as yet. Keyboard action is very smooth and nice surface to the keys.
the piano is good however the installation is not easy. the user guide is all the way at the bottom making it very hard for people to assemble in first place. and the screws are very hard to put into the holes tightly. i have quite few screws that i failed to screw tightly into the piano.
For the price, it is a quality electric piano. The tone, speakers, and action are all definite improvements over older models of the piano. The action responds in a more nuanced way to touch, allowing for more range of tone color. All criticisms are simply criticisms of electric pianos and pianos of this range (which this may very well be the best in its class). For example, I wish the action was slightly heavier, the tone more full in the middle register. Only one quirk is that a few of the keys (three C#s and a G#) squeak when played. I'm not sure if this is defective, or will wear itself in with some more playing, but that is my only major concern. I will contact Sam Ash about this.
